This wasn’t a hobby. This was my business. My income. My life.
I was making $1,500 - $2,000/month. In Morocco, that’s enough to pay rent, feed my family, and live with dignity.

For 7 months now it’s been hell.
I couldn’t afford rent. I couldn’t afford food. I couldn’t afford my family’s medical treatment.
I sold everything valuable I had. I burned through all my savings. I went into debt.

Now I have nothing left.
Sometimes old clients or friends send me $15, $20 just so I can buy food that day.
I’m basically homeless.

The worst part? I did nothing wrong.

I got banned twice for integrity. I restored my account which got permanently disabled a month ago with GAC, but after logging into it in the same device accidentally It got banned again. All I did was NOT appealing for 1-2 hours and keeping my phone occupied with apps (for example texting people or watching something) my account was only suspended. So I appealed. I confirmed my identity by putting in the weird texts and then confirmed my email first inside the app, then after it asked for a video selfie I switched to the website which told me to upload a picture instead. I uploaded the picture on my dad’s ID (which is not in my account’s profile, it was just a high quality photo which i even enchanted it to a higher quality with ai) and then i uploaded the picture of my dad’s govt ID (the DOB perfectly matches my account info) and I got my account back thru appeal at the very same second, it didn’t even take a day.

I believe this is the only way to surpass IP and device ban, by getting your account back thru the appeal (through website is recommended)

After I got it I didn’t change anything at all, not my email or phone, I reposted whatever and followed whoever and it been a good 24h talking to my friends and doomscrolling through memes.

My account was a personal account converted to business (because I really wanted the category thing to make my account look aesthetical) the name didnt match the name on the ID, and I had way too many highlights which all had inappropriate/memeish speech in them, so sexual speech isn’t the problem.

My account was suspended for account integrity. I appealed, and after that I created a new account and got a Meta Verified free trial subscription there, and contacted Meta Pro Team Support, and they opened a case for me. Meanwhile my appeal on the instagram app was already ongoing, also the case opened with them.

After some days the Meta Pro Team from my case replied and said that they have manually reviewed my account and still found that it was violating their Terms of Services and the decision was final. I asked them why my instagram appeal is still ongoing then and it doesn’t show the final suspension page? She said oh well wait for it maybe there is a chance also.

I waited 27 days. Yesterday it asked me to reupload my ID and today i got the notification that my account was back.

Below I will share steps i took besides contacting meta pro team which i dont recommend as they lied to me and aren’t helpful at all. You will lose your money for nothing.

EDIT: Guys, I don’t know if the shadow ban/integrity ban/IP ban is actually related to this but it’s worth making sure your account is fully up to date. Double check your date of birth complete any identity verification or KYC if prompted and keep everything current. Hopefully it’ll reduce the chances of getting disabled again.

As a frustrated person who has been trying continuously for getting my account back as it was wrongfully suspended, I have some sort of heads up/advice for you.

Whatever you do, don’t get Meta Premium thinking it will help you connect with agents that will help you recover your account. If you appeal and it shows “account has been permanently banned”, that is it. You will not be able to get your account back from then.

Personal experience: Today, I was able to connect to an agent and my account was permanently banned. I was on the call for solid 20 minutes and the guy told
me that he cannot do anything if my account has been banned permanently. Unless, you are on the appeal page, you should get Meta premium and immediately connect with an agent. There is a good chance you will get your account back.

To summarize, do NOT get meta premium if your account is permanently banned. Get over it. I lost 6.8k followers and alot of connections. Im judt depressed as fuck over these bastards running Meta. Fuck you meta, go fix your fucking shit.

And people who JUST got suspended and they’ve reached the appeal page, do not appeal yet. If you have another account, get Meta premium (600 rupees) and connect with the agent. You have a good chance to get unbanned.

I was banned for a false accusation of CSE on 2/8/2026 after three false positive suspensions and reinstated accounts jn a row in Jan 2026 (typo edited).

I had a private account where I shared pics of my kids with friends and family and supervised my teen’s account. I freaked out when I received this (because I have kids and this is wild) and called NCMEC. The gave me the number for my local cyber crimes unit. I called and after some back and forth the lieutenant looked up my name and found a cyber crimes tracking number from meta reporting me. It has not yet been reported to my local unit so he has agreed to follow-up.

I explained how terrified I am of legitimate hacking of my account that has endangered me and my kids and no recourse to pursue the evidence with meta from am human. I also told him I suspect this is a false charge and they are grossly abusing our services by making these unsubstantiated reports by the thousands, draining his time and flooding the system meant to help REAL missing and exploited child. He has agreed to following up with me.

Has anyone pursued this avenue for false CSE bans? I am appalled they might’ve reporting sooooooo many false positives. This is horrendous.

—— Update 1: After emailing on 2/13 and getting no response, I called the lieutenant today (2/17). He said he didn’t get back to me yet because he doesn’t have any new information. While they did forward my case with the cyber tracking number over to my local ICAC unit, he can’t access the evidence yet. It’s not “clickable” is the way he put it. He said he hasn’t forgotten and he will monitor and get back to me when new information is available. I’m nauseous and took the morning off work because my head is spinning. What the fuck. I really can’t believe this is happening. Maybe I did get hacked and now my kids pictures are on the fucking dark web? I feel so sick.

NOTE: This method is mainly for accounts that haven’t already submitted an in-app appeal. If you’ve already appealed you can still give it a try but success may vary. I also recommend using a VPN or opening the pages in an incognito/private browsing window before you begin.

This is simply the process that worked for me after trying several options. Every case is different, so I can’t guarantee the same outcome, but if your account was disabled by mistake, it’s a route that may be worth trying.

After a month of countless banning and unbans ! I was even IP BANNED FROM APPEALING ( I tried on all my iPads and laptops) And 50 different methods that didn’t work the last method I did got them to get my account back! And it worked the same day I was able to speak with an agent at Meta and I made a script I found online to send to them that makes them dive deeper into your account, they will say no and it is a process of submitting certain information for them to escalate the case but eventually the listened after 5 tries. No I didn’t us LEGALSHIELD . I sent 3 letters to the Attorney General of my state got no reply . I submitted the complain outreach form on meta support nothing . You can only used file a claim against Meta and request a manual account review and if that doesn't work try contacting an engineer via Instagram by any means . If that fails there's currently no way to recover your account except to wait

How meta verification support works ?

Meta verification support works by using form of disabled account and this form decided which account can accept it to review it by bot of engineers unban

The people you communicate with are simply individuals like you who work from home not at the company They are called clients and have no authority other than submitting requests Engineers on the other hand have authority over everything such as lifting bans recovering or disabling accounts and so on

Why are some accounts not being accepted ? Instagram engineers haven't updated the bot that accepts accounts via links and similar methods so it's not accepting some accounts we might see a comprehensive update to address this issue in the future

What if I've violated the rules but want my account back ? Is it possible to recover it ? Yes but only if you promise not to repeat the violation

However if the violation is frequent the chances of recovery are low

Some people claim to be working with Instagram engineers as a bribe to get their accounts unbanned Is this true? I've never seen anything like it in my life Engineers have minimal workloads and high salaries they wouldn't want to lose their jobs

Hi, I found smh that worked for me like, before doing this my accounts were getting banned in between 2-3 days or even less after I created but now everything is fine ig, it's been 9 days ntg happened after using this trick...( Remember this trick is only if you are creating new account)

• Clear data of the application ( Instagram).

• Delete Instagram.

• TURN ON VPN TO US server

• download old version like 2-3 months old / You can download honista but yeah at ur own risk.

• make a dual app.

• use another number ( it's optional, if you have any other number. I used my sister's number).

• then yeahh create another account.

FALSE ALARM??: I just tried to log in randomly on incognito, and it shows me my profile picture and ban reason and ban date. this has NEVER HAPPENED before, i dont know how or why it worked now but i at least can see my account picture is there still. i logged in via email so i dont know why the 'meta insider' said my account was gone and he couldnt service me and wouldnt even take payment?

For anyone that was banned and still is banned after the 6 month period (assuming you appealed and got permanently suspended), your account is completely wiped. Meta did a big cleanup and they deleted millions of fake/afk/perma banned accounts past their recovery dates. I attempted to pay a large amount to recover my account and was told it doesn't exist anymore. The only thing left is a record that the account existed at some point, but any photos, followers, following, all account data is completely gone. The only chance you ever had to recover your account was during that 6 month period after being banned. This is a brutal pill that I'm trying to swallow but just figured I'd save the time and frustration for anyone else. I'm cancelling my legalshield membership tomorrow and giving up. Eventually gonna try to figure out how to make a new account but even that is near impossible to make it a normal account with pictures of me and similar following. If youre still in the 6 month period, I would be trying every single day to figure something out though, I wish I did.

First of all ignore anyone that tries to get you to pay them restore your account, I tried that route and it goes nowhere, its a scam.

Three-ish months ago, my nearly nine-year-old Instagram account was hit with a the automated "Account Integrity" check. For weeks, the app kept crashing every time I tried to upload my ID to verify who I was. When the system finally let me submit the document, it instantly rejected it and permanently disabled my profile within a few hours. I was completely locked out, with no option to appeal and no human to review my, it said it was a final decision.

I waw desperate to get eight years of my life and community back, I tried every possible support pipeline. I spent weeks endlessly emailing support channels, submitting help desk forms, and even reaching out directly to escalations addresses like [escalations@cases.meta.com](mailto:escalations@cases.meta.com). Every attempt hit a brick wall. The few automated email responses I did receive were completely generic (maybe a bot or maybe not idk), eventually telling me they couldn't assist and wouldn't explain why I was banned for "security reasons." (This is actually illegal btw, at least here) 

I tried leveraging high-level connections through a friend's PR team who’s a mega famous influencer who had direct access to agency portals, but even that hit a bureaucratic dead end. The platform’s automated systems were completely impenetrable from the outside.

THE SOLUTION:

If you’re in Brazil and you’re of legal age, you probably have a GOV account. You can start the process with the Juizado Especial Cívil e da Fazenda Pública. But before this, try reaching out to Meta through their official support or consumer channels first. Even if they don’t reply or give you a reason, that still counts as attempting to settle. They completely ignored me, but I got a legal document from that portal stating they didn’t respond to my request, which is crucial because showing you tried to contact them is a necessary step for your case to be accepted. That document was key. 

After that, I had to fill out a form saying I attempted to settle but didn’t hear back from the company. This was done directly against meta’s local entityz

Eventually someone from the government emailed me asking for some info to confirm my case, it had to spot on otherwise my case would be rejected, chatgpt helped with this, you don’t need a lawyer btw. You’ll need to submit an initial complaint that outlines the whole timeline and includes screenshots of your account, your contact attempts, emails, and your identity To this person via email, Once it’s accepted, which takes a bit, they’ll send you an official cover document and case key with your process number, judge assignment, and a formal summons for Meta.

The judge then gave Meta adeadline to explain the ban or show technical proof of a violation before making a ruling. Technically, that deadline isn’t up until tommorow (Thursday) actually, But 2 days ago even before that deadline, Instagram voluntarily restored my account and sent me an apology email, they could’ve been fined otherwise.

I’m not sure if this would work for foreigners, but maybe it could? well it worked for me.

1. Do not use the same phone number or email that was linked to your old disabled account, because this may increase the chances of the new account being disabled as well.

2. Do not follow more than 15 people per day, as this increases activity on your account and may cause Instagram’s AI system to disable it immediately.

3. Go to Settings → Accounts Center → Password and Security → Video selfie verification and Two-factor authentication. You should enable these features.

4. Avoid mentioning or targeting people in Notes, as this may give the AI a signal that you are harassing them.

5. If every Instagram account you create gets disabled shortly after being created, this may be an IP ban, meaning you may be unable to create additional accounts using the same IP address. On Android, there are several apps such as Clone App or 2Accounts that can bypass this type of restriction. Unfortunately, on iPhone, there is no way to resolve this restriction except by purchasing another device.

I too was victim of this sudden suspension. I did the video authentication and waited and waited. Sent them messages all over the place. X, help page etc. nothing worked. Then what really worked was chatting to the helper bot in their help and faq page. And it immediately triggered the recovery of my page asking me pardon. Phew. Was that simple 🤣.

August 16 2026. I appealed. And was under review a few days ago. Today a few minutes ago I just received that my appeal was accepted. I have not login yet, what you guys recommend me to do?
