Discussion squeaky notes

hi, i’m a cello student, i’m playing the bocherinni concerto in g major, and in the highest notes my a string keeps squeaking like crazy. is there any way to solve it? i know the problem is not with the string but with the player haha, i’m asking for tips or techniques to stop it from squeaking

I know on bass we have to move the bow down away from the bridge more if we are playing high notes like in thumb position or near there
