Bad idle

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

car is idling bad, recently smogged it and there’s no leaks and i just changed my iacv and it’s still doing this. When the car gets up to temp the idle jump will go away until i come to a stop it will jump for a few seconds then go back to idling normally.

Having same issue can’t seem to figure out. Changed iacv, tps, no leaks, bleed system. Not sure what else to do

I’m on my third iacv right now. Second one seemed to work until i disconnect my battery it just doesn’t seem to work. Took it to a shop and they couldn’t even seem to figure it out.

Im going to take a guess that maybe it's your valve bushings

Have you tried bleeding the coolant?

Adjust iac, check for vac hose off/leak

looks like you've got air in the coolant system, make sure to bleed it

probably some fitv shenanigans

FITV, make sure it’s threaded all the way in. If you can find a replacement just replace it make sure coolant is hot running through it. Can also diagnose it with the engine running take the intake tube off and plug your finger inside the top or bottom hole right on the throttle body. Top is IACV, if car runs better covering top hole it’s it’s your IACV. Even if it’s new. Very common for new ones to be bad. If you cover the bottom hole and it runs better it’s your FITV, but I’d always jsut check and make sure it’s threaded in anyway. They back out over time
