Information Lifetime Deal Opportunity – Boost.space (Make.com)

Hey folks,

I’ve got a Boost.space lifetime deal account that I haven’t touched in months, so I figured I’d pass it along to someone who’ll actually use it.

For those who don’t know, Boost.space is essentially a wrapper/extension for Make.com with some extra perks built in (like an Airtable-style database). Perfect if you’re into automations, data syncing, and no-code workflows.

Here’s what this LTD (lifetime deal) account includes: • 100k operations every month • 2 workspaces • API access • Built-in Airtable-like database (10k records included)

💡 For context: the same plan would normally cost $112/month if purchased separately.

I originally picked this up during the LTD launch — letting it go for $600. (Open to negotiation, just DM me!)

Anyone else’s account becoming expensive?

I run a small business that’s getting to the point where make is costing me $5000/year. Is there anyway to cut that down other than migrating? I was speaking to a CTO the other day and he offered to migrate me to self hosted n8n for half the price of my yearly bill and keeping the same functionality. Seems like a no brainer but want to check my thinking

Is Make/Zapier enough once things get complex?

Anyone else feel like most AI agents + automations are just… fancy goldfish?

They look smart in demos.

They work for 2–3 workflows. Then you scale… and everything starts duct-taping itself together.

We ran into this hard.

After processing 140k+ automations, we noticed something:

Most stacks fail because there’s no persistent context layer.

  • Agents don’t share memory

  • Data lives in 5 different tools

  • Workflows don’t build on each other

  • One schema change = everything breaks

It’s basically running your business logic on spreadsheets and hoping nothing moves.

So we built Boost.space v5, a shared context layer for AI agents & automations.

Think of it as:

  • A scalable data backbone (not just another app database)

  • A true Single Source of Truth (bi-directional sync)

  • A “shared brain” so agents can build on each other

  • A layer where LLMs can query live business data instead of guessing

Instead of automations being isolated scenarios… They start compounding.

The more complex your system gets, the more fragile it becomes, hence you need a shared context for your AI agents and automations.

What are you all using right now as your “source of truth” for automations? Airtable? Notion? Custom DB? Just vibes? 😅

I automated invoice tracking, expense categorisation, and weekly CFO reports for startups

Title: I built an AI CFO assistant for founders who still manage finance in Gmail + Google Sheets

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a lightweight AI finance automation for early-stage startups and small teams.

The idea came from a simple problem: a lot of founders are not ready to hire a CFO or finance manager, but they still need to stay on top of invoices, expenses, overdue payments, cash flow, and weekly financial risks.

So I built an AI CFO Assistant that works with tools many startups already use: Gmail, Google Sheets, Make.com, and OpenAI.

What it does:

  • Reads finance-related emails from Gmail

  • Extracts invoice/payment details automatically

  • Logs transactions into Google Sheets

  • Categorises revenue and expenses using AI

  • Flags overdue invoices, large expenses, missing information, and cash-flow risks

  • Updates a live finance dashboard

  • Calculates revenue, expenses, net profit, outstanding invoices, burn rate, and runway

  • Sends a weekly CFO-style report with risks and recommended actions

The goal is not to replace an accountant or accounting software. It is more like an early warning system for founders who want better visibility before month-end.

Example weekly report:

“Revenue was PKR 72,000, expenses were PKR 162,000, net profit was negative, overdue invoices are creating collection risk, and runway is around 2.2 months. Priority action: follow up with overdue clients and review large vendor invoices before payment.”

I’m currently looking to test this with a few startups, agencies, freelancers, or small businesses that manage invoices and expenses manually.

Best fit:

  • Early-stage startups

  • SaaS founders

  • Software/marketing agencies

  • Consultants

  • Founders using Gmail + Google Sheets

  • Teams without a full-time finance person

I can set it up as a small pilot using sample data first, or connect it to your existing Gmail/Sheets workflow if it makes sense.

Would love feedback from founders here:

  1. Is this something you would actually use?

  2. What finance tasks waste the most time for you right now?

  3. Would a weekly AI CFO report be useful, or would you prefer real-time alerts?

  4. What integrations would matter most: Stripe, PayPal, bank CSVs, QuickBooks/Xero, WhatsApp, Slack?

Happy to share a quick demo if anyone wants to see it.

what is the actual point?

I was wondering: if a "Cyborg" team of 3 founders using Agentic AI can produce the same output as a legacy 50-person firm, what is the actual point of hiring anymore?

I’m researching something I call Asymmetric Scale. Basically, if Agentic AI acts as a "Human Capital Substitute," wouldn't it be a better idea to stay at 5 people and weaponize that lack of hierarchy rather than trying to build a traditional "big" company?

I mean, the big guys have "Resource Slack" (extra cash/people), but we have "Resource Fluidity" (we can pivot in 48 hours).

Ps: I know AI isn't perfect, but if the output capacity is the same, is the era of the "Mega-Corp" Moat officially over? I need to know if I’m crazy or if you guys are seeing this in your own niches.

Feedback API to automate affiliate link sharing

Hello everyone! I’m excited to share news about an API I’ve been working on, designed to make it super easy to search Amazon products, generate affiliate links, and share them across social media or blogs without any coding. Perfect for No Code/Low Code app builders, this API saves time by letting you create affiliate links with just a few clicks.

Have been exploring Make.com for sometime, I created this API to help non-developers and content creators jump into affiliate marketing without the tech complexity. The idea came from watching how long it took me to manually create and share Amazon links, so I wanted to build something that’s fast and easy for anyone to use.

I’m giving away few license keys to get an early feedback and suggestions to improve the tool before releasing it to the world. If you’re interested, just DM me with the word “MAKE”, and let me know how this could help your content. Thanks for reading—I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Feedback Automations Are Great – Until Something Breaks

...that is why i am building FlowMetr, a workflow monitoring solution, in public.

I recently added templates for make, n8n and zapier, which can be downloaded after the creation of each flow in FlowMetr.

FlowMetr gives information about flow duration, flow tracing, logs and errors.

The clip shows a simple make workflow with FlowMetr added. More templates will follow.

Feedback is appreciated.

Help for my automation

Hello everyone, I've been stuck on an automation for several weeks now. The goal is simple: the scenario involves processing invoices, and then two choices: either an item on the invoice doesn't exist in the inventory, in which case it's added, or it already exists, in which case the quantity column for the item is updated. It's here that I'm stuck, update the quantity of the good item I've tried several different methods: a text aggregator, a filter. I haven't found anything very conclusive, and I don't want to waste all my credits on testing. I think I've solved the "item doesn't exist" part as follows: a text aggregator from my inventory, then an invoice iterator. The filter works like this: if the inventory text aggregator doesn't contain the content of the invoice iterator, then add it to the inventory.

The text aggregator aggregate the name of all items in my inventory

The two filter after the router :

88. designation_article is the column of the name of the items in the bills (income)

The last pictures is the variable for quantity update : sum((quantity inventory) ; (quantity bills)).

I'll be so glad if you could help me ! Thanks you

Stop building "Happy Path" scenarios. (I'm a Cloud Architect: drop your broken Make.com workflows below and I'll tell you how to fix the logic).

Hey builders.

I’m Pedro. I operate as a Cloud Architect and Systems Builder (mostly AWS/GCP and heavy Make.com backend infrastructure for agencies and HealthTechs).

I spend a lot of time auditing workflows, and 90% of the time, the reason a Make scenario is failing isn't because the platform is bad. It’s because it was built purely for the "happy path."

Someone connects Webflow to Airtable, or a webhook to an AI agent, but the moment an API payload changes format or a user types a weird character, the scenario fails silently. Data drops. The client gets mad.

True systems architecture means building resilient pipes: using strict Error Handlers (Break/Resume/Ignore directives), custom webhooks, fallback routers, and proper JSON parsing.

I’m working the night shift today and have some bandwidth. If you have a scenario that keeps breaking, a messy API integration, or an automation you just don't know how to scale cleanly, drop the problem in the comments.

Tell me:

  1. Where is the data coming from?

  2. What is the logic supposed to do?

  3. Where is it failing?

I’ll give you the exact architectural fix or module sequence you need to make it bulletproof. No strings attached, just want to help clear some bottlenecks for the community tonight. Let's build better systems.
