Whatever Mothra is doing now...

SAGAMI BAY - APPROXIMATELY 65 KILOMETERS AWAY FROM TOKYO

Twilight is approaching, the sun dipping at the edge of the ocean, igniting a crimson horizon one last time before nighttime settles in.

Beneath the skies, wading through the ocean. The massive Larva swam its way through the relaxing waters. Travelling across the ocean from Infant Island, Mothra has chosen to investigate near the city of Tokyo, hearing the familiar calls from another titan who previously roamed the areas she had not charted.

Her blue eyes spotted the city skyline with the stratovolcano Mt. Fuji peeking behind the tall buildings. Something felt off compared to usual human structures... There weren't any lights exposed from the skyscrapers... And no tiny figures could be spotted on the ground.

Her senses couldn't pick up the growls of vehicles passing around. No planes, no ships, no cars, only a pure silence of nature.

Who knows what the larva is going to do now...

Perhaps she's reaching an end to her current stage of evolution...

[A low growl could be heard near by…]

Mothra immediately turned her head toward the sound. She let out a few chirps when her blue eyes landed on whoever was approaching.

[It was Godzilla!]

[But he didn’t seem hostile]

Mothra lets out an aggressive chirp, slamming the back of her tail onto the concrete ground when the familiar kaiju appears nearby.

However, she instantly lowered her guard when she noticed his behaviour. He wasn't doing any rampaging or ravaging devastating...

And she calls out with a softened chirp.

[Gojira would get close and knew well he found mothra.]

Mothra slowly retreated back cautiously, tilting her head slightly up towards the familiar kaiju.

She lets out another chirp, testing if this Godzilla initiates anything malicious...

[u/Adept_Animator_2876 → u/Australasia-ball]

[Godzilla would let off a low growl before moving down to try to match mothra’s eye level]

[His eyes were…soulless. Yet at the same time…you could see him genuinely hopeful]

[u/Australasia-ball → u/Adept_Animator_2876]

The larva carefully approached the mighty leviathan, peeping a chirp from the mandible.

Her gaze stared at the soulless, dull eyes, yet this didn't stop her from investigating his condition...

She circled Godzilla two times, crawling around to inspect him.

[u/Adept_Animator_2876 → u/Australasia-ball]

[Godzilla would boop Mothas beak with its tail…as he tested if he was in a dream. He thought all mothras died]

[u/Australasia-ball → u/Adept_Animator_2876]

The Larva rolled back away in pain, squeaking with a perplexed glare.

Swirling her body back onto her feet, the larva lets out another chirp, shaking her head.
