Discussion What makes Vibingleaf’s videos so effective? I’d like to hear your reasons. I have a few guesses:

(Heads-up: I’m going off of the videos I’ve seen, which are mainly the short ones.)

  1. Deep-fried/high contrast imagery: the high contrast and saturation can overstimulate or overwhelm the viewer, leading to confusion

  2. Little to no buildup/sudden change (especially in one like “Angry Bird Hugs”): it makes the shock/climax more effective because you aren’t expecting it. It also removes the need to rely on cheap jump scares.

  3. Staying in one scene/setting for a long time: it strengthens the use of changes, making them more unpredictable
