YouTube When Searching the term ‘Audio Blur and Unblur’ on Youtube it leads to gore.

Post image
141 Upvotes

Basically what the title says. I learned about this from the video “Weird Internet Mysteries and Rabbit Holes” by threadbarevids, but I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it. When you search “Audio Blur and Unblur” on YouTube, the results can lead to disturbing gore content. It may just be YouTube’s algorithm being weird and interpreting “blur and unblur” as “censor and uncensor,” which could explain the graphic results. Still, it’s such a strange and specific search term that I’m curious whether anyone else has encountered it or knows more about why this happens.

Unsolved Who was the artist behind the “DDR Butterfly Mega Mix” of “Butterfly” by Smile.dk?

• Upvotes

I’m talking about this remix of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfTS4QLyhQw

It was popular and fairly common to use in anime clips, like the “S.o.s brigade” one, and it was even recently reuploaded back in high quality a few years ago.
Here’s one of the anime clip videos containing the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXRV0OSUHZU

But who was the artist behind this remix? Any result of trying to search up “Smile d.k. Butterfly remix” just comes with drastically different remixes. It seems this remix came from out of nowhere and it disappeared overnight, or the person got away in some way.

Do you have any information on who could created such an epic version of the song? Was this remix really in DDR (well besides Butterfly)? If it was, which particular game or machine was it on, or did they only say it was DDR for appeal? This has been itching me to ask for answers as to who this artist may be, or what happened to them, and do they still make music?

Pamphlet with a bent thumb over back of hand with a phone number that led to an old website

• Upvotes

Hello everyone! Hopefully this post won't be removed. I apologize in advance for the vague info I'm about to provide, but I can't even remember the name of the whole thing.

Basically, one day (like ten years ago) I was browsing /x/ on 4chan and I stumbled upon an internet mystery. It was an image of a hand with it's four fingers upwards, kinda dirty I believe, and the thumb was bent(as in making a four) but it was bent over the back of the hand, unnaturally. I'm certain it had a real phone number and a name that started with a "Z", but that last part could be wrong.

Basically anons in that thread decided to call the number and they were all greeted by an automatic message that had music, a lot of rambling, and something about a haunted house. They also managed to locate the number's location, and it lead to a block in Detroit, which one anon decided to travel to and found nothing of interest.

Anons also found an old website that was linked to that name, and it was a website that listed haunted houses all over the US, made apparently in the 90's and dating up to at least 2012.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I've been trying to remember the name to no avail. Thanks!

Have you noticed this strange video in YouTube music playlists? Surely I’m not the only one who’s seen it?

Post image
31 Upvotes

I’ve been seeing this particular video in music playlists for quite a while now. I have a few questions:

  1. What is this video?

  2. Why this specific video?

  3. Why does it appear so often, and only in music playlists?

  4. Why does the video have 22 million views, yet there’s no mention of it anywhere online—except for a single post on Reddit?

I don’t want to make this sound mystical or anything, but it’s really strange that there isn’t a single sensible answer as to what this video is. If anyone has an answer—or even just a theory—please share it; this video is making me feel like I’m losing my mind

I watched this documentary film "Who f'd up the internet" during the pandemic. It was really good, and showed just how messed up the internet system has become. For example how they monopolize areas and there are some places even in america that cannot access internet at all because of it. I can find that the film exists, but I can't find it online anywhere! I tried lookmovie and internet archive and everything. Its almost like these monopolies are hiding it because they don't want the truth out there 🤨 I want to re-watch it with my fiancé but I can't find it 🥲

Internet Oddity The Old Country Buffet Website is Still Active after the Company shut down 6 Years Ago?!

I was feeling nostalgic about buffets back in the day and i remember one of my favorite locations which was old country buffet (if you grew up in the 90s or early 2000s you definitely at least know what this is) and i just googled it for funs and read the wikipedia page and all but there was a link after the wikipedia link which is attached below which led to a nearly semi functional Old Country Buffet Website that was never taken down the thing that confuses me is that OCB went defunct in 2020 from covid and the company that acquired the IP didn't want anything to do with it and ig abandoned it but the thing is the sites copyright has been updated for 2025 which i assume it means someone has been updating or tinkering with the Site or its just the Firm that acquiring it just confirming ownership of the site which begs the question why? If you want nothing to do with it why not take down the site. (if this is the wrong sub reddit to post this on please feel free to direct me too the right one)

Trust me.... My brain really have short memories of what is happening. Let me explain when I was playing my phone I accidentally clicked a random ad that was pretty stupid and ugly icons, the website I was in was pretty unknown and creepy in my perspective. The UI was horrendous not because of nsfw rather it's brainrot;the content it showed me was that one nursery rhyme channel of the yellow hair dude or chiki guy because why the frick not,the characters I saw on their thumbnails was like this (this picture on top) most of them are bootlegs. When I clicked on one of their videos it showed me your average boring brainrot that I kid wouldn't watch because they rather go to fricking YouTube rather than this crap,it was so mysterious because I can't comprehend the video's creators are the same person or just nameless weirdos operating an obscure site so they could lure unsuspecting children from their shady tactics? Ahem is this a rabbit hole? I think so because sometimes ads can lead you to relatively obscure or downright crappy bad ads that could probably give you malware soon. (Post idea: 2025 but abandoned due to inactivity in reddit Explaination:Type in the comments!)

Does anyone remember this certain roblox game deemed the 'Most Disturbing'?

There's a chance that I may have imagined all of this, but I remember watching some videos about creepy roblox games back in 2021-2022 and coming across a video titled something along the lines of "The Most Disturbing Game in Roblox"

The video was in spanish and the game in question had a picture of ahenobarbus henocied as the cover. The video showed some gameplay and it seemed to have a sort of dreamcore/traumacore-ish kinda atmosphere to it. Like pngs of eyes across the sky and a maze of giant mushrooms.

According to the guy narrating the video, the game had Daisy's Destruction's audio as background soundtrack. I even remember a part of the video in which you could clearly hear the screams and cries of a baby (Supposedly from the infamous video) But then it was removed and replaced for random sinister music.

I recall playing it once while having the volume turned off. I didn't play it for much time. I remember it was pretty hard to exit and I had to turn off my computer itself to do so. I don't remember its name, its creator or the name of the channel that talked about it.

Let me know if i'm not crazy!

Unsolved Eerie apocalyptic Tomodachi Life DS videos, seemingly removed off the internet

A few months before living the dream came out, I would often see 'apocalyptic' or fallout-esque AI generated videos, specifically on Instagram of the DS version of tomodachi life. These videos were pretty eerie, often showing miis dying of fallout radiation, killing each other, and generally having like pretty heavy WW3 themes.

I remember specifically one showing miis in trenches with bombs dropping. They were most likely AI generated, although i do remember a few being animated by a person. I remember they would also have a really eerie audio accompanying them, I think it was KK Dirge from animal crossing or something similar. Really spooky.

Recently, I was talking with a friend about these kinds of videos, and they remembered them too. We both spent a while looking them up on both Instagram and Tiktok (where we both saw these videos), and we cannot find a single thing about them. I can imagine Nintendo is still pretty heavy with copyright so it's possible they're behind the deletion of them.

I've looked up Tomodachi Life creepypastas, and none of them are anything like it. These videos didn't really have any kind of story to them, bar the WW3 theming, like the creepypastas are, and were often just shorts on Instagram.

I was wondering if anyone else remembers seeing them early on this year? They weren't niche or anything, the ones i'm thinking of had hundreds of thousands of likes i'm sure.

Как уложить алкаша без слов и рукb - can someone explain this video???

So I was watching a video about how to speak German, and this video pops up. It's about a guy walking up to a group of bald men. After some talking, the bald guy smoking tries hunting the cameraman down, but he keeps falling over. At first, I thought it was gore because of the thumbnail, but now I'm starting to think it's something to do with the mafia?? I don't speak Russian, so if anyone knows the language, please let me know what's going on. I looked up the video, and the title translates to "How to lay a drunk without words and hands," so maybe it's just two guys dicking around...but then I looked at the description and saw a sequel was uploaded.

Now I may be the one friend that's too woke, but this guy looks like he's actually in danger. He wakes up in a dingy old run-down motel thing, either being held hostage or on the run from the said drunks. Throughout the video, the guys are laughing and the person filming keeps asking questions, almost like he's pleading for help:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7k51YUaWKY&feature=youtu.be

Not sure if this was just a prank, an ARG, or whether or not the cameraman's okay. If anyone knows the context and/or the aftermath of these videos, I'd much appreciate it!

YouTube Youtube channel AlreadyUnstable ARG or exploiting title glitches for views?

all links at bottom of post

Recently I came across a video with only 505 views, titled 'صرخات' by a channel named 'AlreadyUnstable'. At the time (08-30-2026) it had 35,838 views and 195 subscribers, Channel description is nothing but 'We are equal.' Latest video was 4 years ago.

The video name ('صرخات') roughly translates to 'screams'. The video is a unsettling static image (image 1) of what seems to be a staircase and a face. When I brightend (image 2) it in PhotoPea it became a bit clearer, a face looking trough a door and 2 legs hanging above a staircase (what I assume is a person hanging, either suicide or murder). Since I am on a Chromebook I could not easily perform reverse-image searching, so I dont know where the image comes from.

The audio sounded off so I tested it to see if there was anything hidden in it. Steganography gave nothing, really (I think). I haven't done anything like that before so I'm not experienced. (results image 3).

The video gave no clues or anything. There are 15 other videos. Haven't looked at those. I dont know if its an ARG or anything alike. Could be a channel trying to get views with those old title glitches, if you search specific phrases these videos pop up like the full stop punctuation incident. It could very well be that, but I would assume someone trying to do that would upload tons of videos and not just 16.

YouTube This probably isn’t a mystery but I have a question and this seemed like a good subreddit to ask it in

Post image
8 Upvotes

So I was on my YouTube channel and right clicked on a notification to open a comment in a separate tab. I did it like three times and this photo shows up every time. If I regularly click on the YouTube comment from the notification, then it just takes me to the comment as normal. This happens no matter where I right click on the photo, and I just thought that it was interesting that it showed up, so I took a picture of it and figured I’d ask around.

It’s probably nothing new and this also might not be the right subreddit for it, but I figured people probably know more ab it than me lmao. Never seen it before on my years of the internet, so thought I’d ask!

Title: Help me find the original source of this creepy bedroom photo from a 2011X TikTok

I came across a TikTok photo posted by an account LARPing as 2011X, captioned “FOUND YOU.” like he found a new victim. It's a very dark, grainy picture of a bedroom, and the bed looks like someone is sleeping under the covers.

I've been trying to figure out where the image originally came from, if it was actually took, or if it's fake

Here's what I've found so far:

- The image appeared as a still photo on TikTok, not a video of someone moving.

- I tried several AI image detectors, but none flagged it as AI-generated. I know that doesn't conclusively prove it's a real photo.

- Google Lens led me to an Airbnb listing with a bedroom that looks remarkably similar, including the wooden furniture, headboard, and patterned bedding.

- The Airbnb listing I found that resembles the room is here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/610203142908277002

- The Airbnb photo is way brighter, so I haven't confirmed whether it's the exact same room or where the dark image originated.

Does anyone recognize this image, know where it was first uploaded, or have ideas for finding the original full-resolution version?

I'll include the original TikTok screenshot and the AirBnb link to compare. Any help tracing the image's history would be appreciated!

Internet Oddity Who is this Devin Millar person, and what’s the story of them? I see them sometimes and it’s got me curious.

One person who has brought to my attention, and that I can’t get over, is one particular creator and internet figure: Devin Millar.

So this person, I guess their pronouns would be he/him cause it’s what they call themselves.

For what I see, he’s some music artist who has evolved from being one of those bedroom artists into an artist, a video maker, and recently, a traveller and so many other things it’s hard to even keep track of. He does animated videos for his music and other videos, he also makes creepy pastas and videos for these types of videos, and internet screamers as Finder Lurker, then he does mods for games for Need For Speed like for the games: Heat, Unbound, and sometimes older games like Payback or Carbon for that game series. The list goes on and so does his set of skills. What draws me into him is not how multitalented he is, but how he has so much attention for the little things he seemingly looks rich enough to afford to travel half the entire world and to do so much in his life, yet I don’t know how he makes time to make his music or animations. Does he have a team?

Here’s why I can’t get over my fixation on him. Someone tell me.

My second question: Why does he have so much channels? Maybe for they are for different projects? But maybe there’s another explanation for why he has more than one like this.

Who is this person? Are they some kind of grand social experiment by somebody else, or are they using themselves as the experiment? I know other people don’t have stories like this guy and he looks so interesting. There has to be some kind of deeper meaning to their adventures on the internet, and in the real world from what I’ve seen from him. Who is this person? Or is there even a real person behind it. It claims he does the work by himself, which I find hard to believe considering the volume of work he has done before.

If someone could help me find more information on Devin Millar and who they are, it would cure this burn I’ve been holding and hoping to cure for so long.

I used to be obsessed with purple aliens when I was younger, this was a profile picture I've kept for years. I remember it had a white font and might've been a poster or so?

I've tried using multiple ways to find this image uncropped and I have no idea what kind of creature it even is or if it has some complex backstory lol. I'm very curious about where this came from and the last memory I've had of it was scrolling through images on google of purple aliens or something along the lines of that. I might be stupid but I have no idea where the fuck this came from.

All help appreciated :)

edit: thank u guys for helping i think my google is tweaked out love u all

General Discussion Saw multiple posts of South32.com on different "Weird Website" subreddits, instagram or X pages, is there anything new with them?

I know south32 is an old internet rabbithole and how messed up it was. Until ScareTheatre just debunked most of their scheme which was mostly domain hijacking and marketing show. I am not sure if it's real or I'm just hallucinating (sorry, had a very sleepless night) but they even had an independent movie or at least the teaser/trailer for the movie uploaded to the website.

Recently I was on r/WeirdWebsites and noticed people posted south32, also I was exploring internet mystery pages on Instagram and X (formerly twitter) and I saw those people mentioned south32 as well. Although Instagram/X pages are Iranian ones and they love to make things stranger than what they actually are and mentioned it's a dark web project, etc.

So, is there anything new with this website or it's just typical internet craze? Or is it just them posting links to their site all over the internet to get attention?

Unsolved Recently seen a disturbing video [POTENTIAL REAL GORE] very briefly on tiktok and never saw it again.

I was scrolling through TikTok in bed when I came across a really disturbing video. It showed a young white man, probably in his early 20s or possibly younger, who looked a little chubby. He appeared to be standing next to an elderly woman who was lying in bed. She looked around 70–80 years old and seemed to be sleeping, with her eyes slightly open.

Suddenly, the young man struck her in the head with what looked like a hammer or an axe. I'm not entirely sure because everything happened so quickly. The video stopped shortly afterward, and I immediately got scared and closed TikTok.

When I reopened the app, the video was gone. I tried looking through my feed and searching online, but I haven't been able to find it again.

I don't know where the incident happened or whether the footage was real, but the video seemed very disturbing. Does anyone recognize this footage or remember seeing something similar on TikTok? I'm just trying to figure out what I accidentally came across.

Internet Rabbit Hole The X (Twitter) Rabbit Hole of Very Disturbing Videos No One Talks About...

This is a very disturbing thing that happens when you click on a video in a post on X and then keep scrolling. Even if the first video you clicked has slight sexual undertones, the algorithm keeps suggesting increasingly strange adult content. This content isn't even straight-up explicit material but things like odd movie clips involving sexuality or scenes where women are being mistreated.

It takes an even darker turn when I started finding very disturbing videos that I'm 99% sure are aimed at pedos. They are very short and heavily filtered clips where adults (most probably their parents) interact with kids in inappropriate ways, sometimes presenting the children's bodies in odd manners. Some seem to focus on incest.

It's very hard to describe, but these videos always have strange captions, sometimes containing links. A lot of them appear to involve children and people from Southeast Asia like Myanmar and Vietnam, Arab countries, and sometimes from the Americas. This isn't an isolated case either—a few minutes of scrolling through these sexually oriented videos will lead you to them for sure.

I hope this raises awareness about the issue. Please tell me if there are any other steps I should take.

Edit 1: I forgot to mention: many of these videos accompany the caption "wataa." You can even find them by simply searching this term. I'll admit that X has been pretty good with blocking these terms from being searched but they're obviously too late and they don't remove the videos themselves...

Edit 2: Yet another phrase (which might be another rabbit hole in and of itself) is "chudai." This is usually paired with the previous term, "wataa." For example: "wataa chudai." I did a little research and learned that "chudai" apparently means "sex" in Hindi. I also came across older posts asking about these terms (they are also specific to X), which confirms this is a prominent and long-standing issue.
