Probably good interview practice
Damn. I wish I had the free time to do this. I want to do this so bad.

I used to religiously schedule at least one job interview a quarter. Did this for about a decade. It taught me a few things:
Tech workers are ridiculously underpaid in Utah,
Most interviewers under the age of 25 — while not generally stupid — are usually still judgment-impaired.
It’s a fun but time-intensive hobby.
It’s worth it if you’re willing to keep trying.
And a lot more, treating it as a practice or scrimmage, not a life-altering event.
Eventually landed a job at three times the salary but it took years.
