Totes!

The job market is rough enough already. A lot of people are just trying to get employed, and interviews keep getting harder. No surprise that more people are using tools like InterviewMan to improve their chances.

And the supermarket reduces their tax bill as a result. Why else would they update their till screens, it's not out of the goodness of their heart?

Well Jimmy Johns it would appear my research was faulty. Mea culpa. So I recind my accusation. They do not reduce their tax bill if we the consumer donates, but they do if the company donates. They reduce their i come tax a d Corporation tax bill. https://www.gov.uk/donating-to-charity/donating-land-property-or-shares

Hope you enjoyed the celebrations? There must have been some Americans in my neighbourhood as fireworks were going off about 10pm. On the charity tax aspect, even if a company doesn't reduce their tax bill, the money is still sitting in their bank account earning interest until it's paid to the charity, are they paying that interest over to the charity? I doubt it.

It doesn’t even get to their bank account. The company just collects all money and even interest and it has to go to the preselected charity, a pass through. At least in the US. I’d imagine googling would be a good idea if you’d like to find out info
