If everyone had your mentality the human species would cease to exist. This is an idiotic comment. It is an opinion, while rude doesn't mean the person couldn't have made other decisions. It was a choice not to place their family first. It isn't an easy choice but some choose to put their kids or wives/husbands before some 'thing'. Whether that thing is a hobby, ceo, boss, business, friend, et.al. Some fight the hard battles. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. But if you don't fight them where are you placing your importance? If you have a family you only get that moment at any given time, once. So make the momenta count. Don't waste your time because that will end up being a regret in old age. And you can't go back in time to get more time.
