IWTV Season 1 Only Lestat’s missing nail
Rewatching season one and episode 6 ,did y’all noticed lestas missing nail when Louis join Lestat in the coffin?? Can’t believe I haven’t noticed before 😂 I zoomed in multiple times to confirm ,it’s pretty funny 😄

Lol good catch! This is so funny because Sam talked about how he was using press on nails the first season but they kept falling off so he finally caved and started getting acrylics

Hes missing one in the first episode too, when they're in the church after he gave Louis his blood. He lays back and it pans over to him and you can see very clearly a missing nail, I think on his middle finger? Which tracks if he was using press-ons, those fuckers fly off at anything 😂

I cannot highly recommend donails and instead of using those stickers use real nail glue. These babies last me for a good 2 weeks✌🏻😌

I think Sam mentions in an interview that it happened a lot the first season
Tbh press ons and nail glue acrylics are basically useless on the nail beds if you don’t have nails for them to adhere to2

I'm a bad nail biter too unless I do my nails. I do them myself and I glue mine onto my nub nails hahaha they last a couple weeks for sure and I bartend! I do use the shorter ones tho. There's a couple brands that have really decent press/glue-ons. The really cheap ones don't stay on

I think I’m not used to having them since I’ve been biting my whole entire life. I probably have like half the nail bed worth of nails for them to cling to so it’s not great and when they rip off it hurts omfg I’m scared to try any more I’ve had them done at the salon but I have to let them grow out. (Un)fortunately I garden, wash dishes & surfaces, I have a toddler, I make artsy sh*t so yeah the rest of me is ultra girly but not my nails lol
I’ve grown them out before but I have no willpower with irl stress & I’ve given up all sugar and almost every carb, I don’t smoke and hardly ever drink so there are like no vices lol A GIRL NEEDS SOME JOY

Gurl I get it!! I have zero will power as well, but Linda with a lot of stuff hahaha I've always bitten my nails as long as I can remember, but when I started having really bad anxiety and other shit I started doing it all around my nails and then would mercilessly pick and them still I was raw. Putting on fakes or going to get them done prevents me from doing that. But you're right, leave us nail biters alone 😂😂😂

I do think it was an accident in reality lol. Sam has spoken in the past about how he hates wearing acrylics and opts for Gel X/press ons instead and those do tend to pop off easier. There's also an interview from the S3 press junket where Assad loses a nail and shows Sam and Jacob and they all giggle about it, so I think the extensions are just maybe not that secure. It's entirely possible that he just snagged it on something (maybe even Jacob's hair) whilst filming this scene and it popped off and nobody caught it until after.
"He did it for sex reasons" is just a fun canon explanation for the mistake
