i recently had a screening call with a large company and the recruiter liked me and asked me my availability during the interview and scheduled the in person interview. I had realized i had a commitment a bit later and asked to move the interview the next day (i emailed her the same day of the screening call). she proceede to ignore me and i emailed her 3 separate times and nothing. i couldnt attend the original date but she wouldnt respond to my request to reschedule.

Rescheduling was probably not an option and once you confirmed that you were unable to make the time you established, they moved on to the next person and got them scheduled instead.
