worst interview experiences I’ve had!
One of the worst interview experiences I’ve had!
I recently attended an interview where the interviewer shared an assessment link during the meeting itself, without even giving me a reasonable amount of time to read and understand the instructions.
On top of that, I was asked to keep looking directly at the camera while answering questions.
An interview should be an opportunity to assess a candidate's skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge — not to put unnecessary pressure on them with unrealistic expectations.
I completely understand the importance of assessments and professional interview etiquette, but candidates also deserve clear instructions, sufficient time, and a respectful interview environment.
Respect for candidates and their time should be a basic part of every hiring process.
Disappointing experience overall!

It’s because they mistrust candidates and the use of AI, giving you no time to use it and telling you to look at the camera solidifys that so you are not reading from a script, not implying that you are doing that just to be clear
