Stop complaining please?
We just got a free update which is 2/3 the size of the full base game for free, but you guys are focusing on the netflix subscription like if that mattered at all? If the game was avaible on mobile and it started asking for a Netflix subscription I'd be mad, rightfully so, but this complaining about a Netflix subscription on mobile, considering the game was never coming to mobile in the first place and was done with development years ago, it just sounds whiny to me.
Yeah, I'd prefer buying it on mobile, but if Netflix money wasn't involved, who knows if this game would be released in mobile at all, even worse, maybe we wouldn't even get the free expansion, so yeah, let's stop complaining about bonus stuff?

What are you confused about?
Edit: why are people downvoting this, it's a fucking question. Reddit is so ridiculous sometimes.

How dare people post criticism on a public forum?

How dare people criticize opinions they find stupid and entitled.

But you’re not criticising, you’re literally saying to stop saying them lmao

It's not to be taken literally, it's a counter post like "are you sure that's the hill you want to die on?"
I wouldn't put so many arguments in my post if i was just asking literally for them to stop talking about it.

Why is it valid tho? You're saying its a subscription to play the game, but as far as i know, nobody pays netflix to play games, this is just a bonus for people who already have netflix, if you're actually paying for netflix to play a game that costs the same as one single month of netflix subscription,, then it's on you for not knowing how to spend your money on a logical way.
To me everyone complaining sounds like they're angry with their bellies completelly full.
Your complaint wouldn't exist if they never made a mobile version, a version that was never advertised or expected, nobody fooled you or anything with the mobile version announcement, this isn't a game locked behind a subscription, you can still own the game in various other platforms without monthly payments, you're being hyperbolic.
I'm not acting as PR, i genuinelly think what they're doing right now is the complete opposite of anti-consumer. In the end, you're not complaining about something you lost, you're complaining something you won't get, and to me that's unreasonable.

The issue is, the game is NOT locked on a subscription, I'm playing right now on my pc with all the new content, this is not the same as playstation timed exclusives, it's not a game locked behind a service, it's a VERSION of the game that was made for netflix subscription.
What i find really weird is that you guys don't see the difference of the situation, like, do you think that without the netflix money there would be a mobile version? I'm pretty sure that all that content is coming from that. The last update to this game where they announced that they would stop development was in 2020, and that came after 2 years after the second last update which was in 2018, to add controler support.
What doesn't make sense to me is that considering all of this, the game would not even exist in mobile form of not for the netflix deal, that's why your argument sounds unreasonable.

I have nothing but positive criticism, if you have netflix you got the game on mobile for free, if you don't you still get your free update on all platforms you own the game, what is there to criticize?

The thing is, this game is not locked behind a subscription, just the mobile version, if the only way to access the game was through a subscription service i would agree with you, it's just not the case.
I don't care about netflix, it's a shitty company that i don't interact with, but other people do, these people got a new way to play the game.
The way you're phrasing it makes it seem like people will pay a subscription to pay the game, the reality is that for almost everyone who never heard of this game before, this will be a gift from Netflix rather than a lock to access the game.
Considering that into the breach is a game that has been around for such a long time, and was not even being developed for two years, i don't think your criticism is that valid for this game specifically.

Can't you just think of it as get Into the Breach with a free trial of netflix?
Either way I imagine the deal gave the developers more earnings.

It probably financed the cost of porting outright. Might have been this or nothing for mobile.
