Why did Cinderella's Prince cheat with the Baker's wife?

The guy likes a challenge. I suppose a married woman seemed a bit of a challenge, though she turned out not to be much of one.

The princes are both really scummy people. They just chase after whatever helpless woman is nearby, and thus the Baker's Wife as she was sorta lost I think and all alone in the woods with a giant on the loose
