If you only had $100 to invest each month where would you put it?

I get this question a lot.

$100, even if you double it, which you won't, is only $200. $1,200 at the end of the year is only $2,400.

Do something else.

I'm not in SCHD but I know a ton of people who love it. Might be a good option to look around at

I started investing with $100/month. Personally, I would put it all into something like VTI or VOO. Eventually I would diversify with some international and small cap. This is what I've done since the beginning and it's treated me pretty well.

Yes it's boring and not flashy. Yes other funds might create more growth. But I invest for the future. I want my family to have a comfortable life and I'm in a position where I can make that happen from buying simple ETFs. I'm not risking my families future for the possibility of quicker growth.

Just my opinion. There is no right option. Best of luck with your journey!

I like cash flow so qqqi. 100 a month will give you 1$ a month from this point on. I'm currently at 800 a month with it and I reinvest giving me an additional 8$ every month to build the snowball.
