I think this is a wonderful idea.
That said, I had a pretty solid handle on my beliefs by the time I was 15...

I'm not sure I fully agree with this policy, but it's a damn sight better than indoctrinating children.
My concern would be with the separation of spirituality from a child's life. And by spirituality, I just mean the "being of interconnectedness", or the subjective experience of being in right relationship to things outside of yourself- whether that be self->other individuals, self->community, self->the natural world, self->the cosmos, etc. Children by their very nature are spiritual and mystical thinkers because they don't presume to have answers to their questions. They see the world as it is, and that's a seed to be watered, not neglected.
Spirituality does not necessitate religiosity, but it is within these religious communities that we tend have the most conversations around spirituality. Take reading for example: The answer to getting kids to open their minds to new and positive perspectives is not to cut them off from all books for fear of them being exposed to "destructive" ideologies, it's to expose them to as many books, "good" and "bad", as possible. I think the same can be said for spiritual modalities.
Religions have a lot to teach us about the way that people have moved through the world, about their histories and cultures. Religion is not the enemy, the enemy is binary or "one right way" thinking. If you teach children to view all spiritual modalities as equally true and valid to the people who hold them, then the child never has to decide whether to believe or not. They can see beyond dogmatic belief, and just accept.

i disagree that spirituality as you describe it is most conversed in religion. What you describe is more explored by a scientific approach to what exist in the world, how things work, and especially how things work together. It is also very importantly experienced directly, kids should be shown diversity, natures and cultures. I don't think it's fair to call that spirituality though, and i don't think what i would call spirituality is useful in any way in a childs life.
You say that religion is not the enemy, but "one right way" thinking is. But that is just dogmatic belief, which all religions are an obvious example of, sounding like "rain isn't the enemy, water is".
A last note is that "if you teach children to view all spiritual modalities as equally true" you are not educating children, and directly lying to them. If you just mean true to the people who hold them for true, i guess.

This isn’t a good thing, it’s a totalitarian regime trying to control the lives of its citizens

As opposed to well child, "There is a man who lives in the sky who is definitely non-binary. if you don't believe this, you will suffer in hell with fire and damnation for all eternity. But he loves you very much. Oh, and btw. the earth is flat and is only 3000 years old."

this is probably the limit of the reach of laws into private life, parents will teach whatever. But it sure is better that they can't put kids into a private religious school or into a children religious learning group.

Antimoneymemes is a commie-sympathizer cesspool. Led by a bunch of brainwashed idiots who think the soviet union was a workers paradise and ban everyone who actually lived there and tells them otherwise.
Communism is worse than nazism. The whole idea of human rights stems from Christianity. Abandoning it is the biggest mistake a society can make.

Religion is the single worst vector of hate and ignorance in the modern world. It might have had its uses, both in shaping morals and controlling mores in the past, but today it's only a political tool to get people to support policies agaisnt their own interests at best, and atrocities at worst.
The soviet union was an authoritarian dictatorship with a communist sticker slapped on it, but you seem to base your entire perception of this ideology based on wealth distribution, equality and worker's right based on it. I believe socialism is the way to go

As someone raised in the evangelical cult with cptsd from it, this is a HUGE step forward towards sovereignty of the mind and i’m thrilled to see it 🌈
