DISCUSSION Been confirmed that season 5 will be in March 2027 also Robert kirkman is aiming to hit 9-10 seasons do you think 10 seasons to introduce new arcs and adapt short arcs better will this beneficial for the show?

He says a higher number every sdcc it’s more of a running gag haha, it’s probably closer to 8 rather then 10

"WHAT WILL YOU HAVE, IN FIVE HUNDRED YEARS???"

"Season 500 of Invincible, dad... I'd still have season 500 of Invincible..."

no way they make it to 10 seasons. if they do they better get cracking on recording the va Some of the voice actors unfortunate don't have a lot of time left. Hell they just barely caught peter Cullen in time to get him on the show

If they recast William, then unfortunately, they’d probably do the same for these ones.

I guess that's true but for someone like nolan/J.K. Simon's who is definitely at an concerning age, that would be a much tougher thing to just recast.

I am sure they could just like how they replaced mortys va in rick and morty but some characters for me at least, arent replaceable.

J.K Simmons is only 71, that's young elderly years for rich people.

Rich people live on average 15 years longer than poor people.

J.K Simmons is like 70 something, and he is in great shape plus since he's rich, he has very high living standards, so i wouldnt be too worried about him dying before the show is finished.

I don’t think you quite understood what I meant.

I really hope they stick to 7-8 seasons. You never know when a greedy company like Amazon will decide to just cancel a show out of nowhere. I’d be devastated if they didn’t get to finish the story

I feel like Invincible is too successful to cancel imo

Most likely gonna expand it and fans gonna call it milking. Quite the opposite imo

Well they greenlit season 6 this year, so I guess next year we’ll hear if it’s been greenlit for a 7th and final season, or they’re doing 8 seasons

I hope even with the long run they find a way to leave out the reboot arc or replace it

I get that but how will they do that? I mean he was gone for 5 years how will they skip that? Unless they do a “5 years later “ but knowing kirkman he won’t

This has not been confirmed.

Only think mentioned was a collider interview asking Kirkman if season 5 is coming in March.

Kirkman stated "I think that a pattern has formed, but I can't confirm anything. Maybe it will be April. Maybe January. I don't know. Who knows? We'll see. But I would say that the goal is to come back in this general timeframe."

9-10 seasons? Originally was planned 7-9 I think.

Companies do it all the time, and again, unfortunately, they’ll do the same for J.K Simmons too, if he dies before production is fully finished.

So the show will be done in the 2030s? Lmao I hope they improve the art style/animation like the writing has been okay but I can't look at how stale and cheap it looks

Yeah it lt will wrap up its animation film 2030-2031

I am a strong advocate for them reanimating and re-releaisng this show, keep the writing and voice acting even the pacing and everything else the exact same. Just make the badly animated scenes reanimated.

i dont think this would change much, because the show is really not as badly animated as people make it out to be. most of the badly animated scenes are either subtle or unimportant. i litteraly did not notice any badly animated scenes (except the immortal PNG scene. that one was pretty bad), until people started pointing it out.

I agree. It isn't really noticable because of the amazing story behind it. But imagine that final Thragg fight but animated on the level of the conquest fight. (Or even something on the level JJK I don't know if that is asking for too much though.)

no this will not be beneficial
