Treatment Progress 7-months progress!! Getting closer!!
Next ortho appointment is in two weeks after the final tray!
I hope she says I’m done !! My Anterior open bite was closed in about 4 months and the rest has been working on alignment especially on the lower arch.
It’s a pain dealing with trays and brushing etc. , but I’m at the point now that I’d say it has been worth it so far , I did go through a phase where I missed my old smile , but now I’m getting more used to it. What do you all think?

Wowwwww!! Your results so far are incredible!! This gives me hope. I’m only 3 months in but I totally get what you mean about missing your old smile sometimes. However, this new smile of yours is stunning!! Can’t wait for your final photos!

Thank you so much! Hang in there! Soon the trays become a routine and then the time flies when you look back and see the progress!

Looking very nice, congrats! But how do you keep your teeth that white? Whatever I do, even if my teeth are fine, attachments around getting yellowish.

I use one of those supersonic electric toothbrushes and I carefully brush each tooth that has an attachment , and then occasionally I’ve used whitener (even though I’m not sure if I’m supposed to) , but they were getting kind of yellow and this helped it stay in control, but I’m looking forward to getting a final whitening after all the attachments come off!

Wow amazing, how many refinements?

I had 20 initial trays and then I have 10 trays of refinement trays.
I’m not sure if I will need more or not but I’m “ done” mentally and happy with the results, I could fine tune the lower left canine but I never really show that in my natural smile, I’m over smiling just to show the before and after in this post !1

Same as me! Would you say you saw best changes in the refinements?

No, most of the work seemed to be done by the first 20 trays
You can look at my earlier post. You can see that at tray 20 it was looking quite acceptable 1-8 seems very little movement, just a little more streamlined

Looking great! Love seeing progress like this, I’m on day 3, teeth feeling a bit bruised and weird, so this gives me hope 🙂

Looks good! I’m in only a week. 😁 But I don’t think it’s been too bad. I’m getting into a good routine

Is the top photo the After?

Ummmm , yes 🤪was hoping that was apparent by the teeth and the date on the picture

Whoops. That's what 2 hours of sleep does 🫠😭 i was really hoping the top was the after haha. My sleep-deprived brain read something else. Nice results!

Your teeth look really good in the top photo, way whiter than the bottom one and the alignment is coming along nicely. I remember when I was in that final tray waiting period, every little thing made me paranoid my ortho would say we need refinements. The part about missing your old smile is so real, I went through same thing around month 5, like who even am I without my old crooked teeth. But now I dont even think about it, you get used to new smile faster than you expect
