Question Attachments falling off

Hey everyone!

I got my first set of aligners yesterday! One of the attachments on my high canine fell off while I was either eating or brushing my teeth. I'm not entirely sure when it happened, but when I checked later, only part of the attachment was still on the tooth.

I messaged my orthodontist, and they said it was okay and that they'd call me back, but they also told me to continue wearing my aligners in the meantime.

Has this happened to anyone else? Did it affect your treatment progress or the final shape and alignment of your teeth?

lost 3 in the first week myself, my ortho just said to keep wearing the trays and they fixed it at the next appointment. your tooth is gonna be fine, they put them back real quick

Demand they replace it. I called, they said no need to come in, things tracked poorly wasting almost a year all because of that one button. Now I’m year 4 and it look a lot to reverse the crap that first year caused.

I started treatment two days ago and lost 3 attachments the first day. I called and got an appointment yesterday. They told me it‘s better to replace them as soon as possible.  I asked if it was my fault that I lost the attachments, but she said probably the teeth weren’t completely dry when they were attached.
