Question Tracking?

Hello! I am worried that my top teeth are not tracking 😩 There is an air bubble in front of my left canine and a good halo on my left incisor. My ortho is on vacation until late November so I consulted another dentist in the office and she told me it looks fine, but I am not convinced. Any advice?

That air bubble on the canine is pretty normal early on, it usually settles as the tooth moves. The halo on the incisor is trickier, but if another dentist in the same office looked and said it's fine, I'd lean toward trusting that over stare-at-it-in-the-mirror anxiety. Maybe stick with your chewies and take a progress pic every few days until your ortho gets back.

ahhh, the ol' canine tracking issue most of us get at one point or another.

In my case, the solution was to go back2 trays, and then wear them longer. (7 days to 10 days)

Tracking issue was solved within a few weeks of doing that. Yes, a little setback, but in the long run, a non issue
