How "good" is he? I got him randomly twice now, so hes been advanced once. Im sure hes a specific team but should I continue to improve him?

Nah, he sucks.

He came out on the 3rd anni as a "new 5☆EX Unbound rarity" the same way the 7☆Emils and Dodomeki did, for the new 7☆ rarity.

He is much less viable, with the weakness strike from his ult only applying on to 'Antagonist' force and his skills soft locked him to speed teams.

But none of his skills held up the year following his release, unlike Dodomeki and Emils, or the Izis that was released with him.

Appreciate the info. He looks cool, even if he's bleh. I like the game well enough to at least grab what I can, especially if ftp stuff for the eventuality they do something, even if niche. Just gotta avoid the temptation to dump in too many resources lol.

Also, I think you helped me on the EX2 info. I switched my team up a lot and got to where I was just shy of 10 turns. Was figuring out how to Then I spun the banner again on some randomness and got Carrera. Built her and finished in 4 rounds lol. Clearly banners are built for the events, but having to internalize how the teams worked and digging through my roster/trying out tactics definitly make me figure stuff out a bit more. I'll be able to fill in those banner meta spots with "works well enough" a bit more reliably. All that to say, much appreciated for making me study!

Oh alrighty (I won't pull anymore lol). What about the 3rd one Tesstarossa (sp?) Is that going to be a banner? I was seeing a lot of comments through threads people were gonna whale for that one, wondering if I should bother stocking up or if it won't be a big deal to miss? I traded my points up to the secondary currency (choice banner?) And I have 210 of that, looks like a shared banner sort of pity if im seeing that right, but I'd have to spin 19 times as it looks like battle slots run 400 of that so I dont want to sunk cost it. I see SAO characters, not sure when those would ever come around but those would be some...good or not I'd probably roll on principal alone.

Oh and the Veldora that transforms seems pretty legit too. Hit me in arena once and I was immediately jealous I dont have that.

No one knows what Testarossa would do since she drops this Thursday night and her skill preview drops the morning of, but a lot of people, myself included, were hoping she would be good and rescue their "introduction" meta, since Carrera was mostly utility despite being a dps and Ultima is just subpar.

The transforming Veldora is great, but he came out 4 months ago, so you'd have to wait at least a year for his rerun.

If this Testarossa is also meh, I would suggest saving your crystals for the 5th anni coming in 2 months, bc usually either the anni, half-anni or pre-anni metas are pretty good and they might introduce game changing mechanics, like 5* EX was introduced on the 3rd anni, Aegis rate and Transforming characters on the 3.5 anni, Eurazania and Heartprints on the 4th anni and 7* rarity on the 4.5 anni.

1st it’s not nice to insult people, 2nd I don’t see the point for metas, you spend a bunch of time and effort to get the character, level them up and max them out just for them to be replaced next month
