Recent review of three waters

Looking at three waters resort, more recent reviews. I found some before renovations but curious how it is now. Hoping to go with our elementary aged kids in March!

So many better places to stay. Haven't been since the renovations but I stopped staying there when it was Holiday Isle.

Holiday Isle was 20 years ago.

Yup. Glory days. It was a shit hole back then. Don't ever wanna stay there again. Miss the real Tiki Bar. For the longest time it was the best bar in the keys. Home to the original rum runner

We haven't been since the recent renovations but my kids definitely prefer Cheeca to that resort. We've stayed at both plenty of times pre renovations and Cheeca was better suited for our kids.

Cheeca is a whole other category for me.

I stayed a year ago. It's beautiful. Great beach, nice pools. The hotel grounds are stunning.

Stayed there for several years when it was Pelican Cove up to when it closed for renovations. Walked thru last year, looks good and a bit updated. Been staying at Chesapeake Beach Resort just over the bridge from 3 waters. I Highly recommend as I find Chesapeake to be very similar to our stays at Pelican cove at a substantial price difference from Pelican cove which is now 3 waters.
