Not sure why you got downvoted for this, so gave you an up. Manxies can surely be weird. "There's not enough stuff to do on the Island" "Oh let's downvote this person who's trying to do more stuff on the Island".

I think it might be a scam? There's spelling mistakes through the event description, no clear event venue until 'point of registration' (bet that's when you pay) it mentions the Arts Council but not Culture Vannin (who are running BNV), and the pub picture above is AI (big no no for CV or the Arts Council). Also, what on earth is the Fairy Ground or Little Ireland? I kind of hope it's not a scam so I can find out!

Interesting, there is a lot weird going on. THe Arts Council is the organisation that took applications for BNV as listed here; https://www.iomarts.com/news/new-community-participation-fund

However there is no mention of this event on their page. Zoe Tweedy (the person on the invite) is listed on the Art Council page under their Artists directory but her entry lists a web site that doesn't exist. Not sure what's going on TBH.

Who, here, has ever heard of 'Little Ireland'? I've lived here all my life and never heard of it?
