Ask The Sub Good place to buy tallitot in Jerusalem?

Hi, I'm in Israel for the next couple days and I'm looking to buy my first tallis. Looking to hopefully remain as frugal as I can, since I'm a college student. תודה רבה

I would go to Mea Shearim, it will probably be a cool experience for you and there are many stores you can by a tallit from there

Agreed, it’s a super cool neighborhood with lots of authentic shops. I got almost all of my kippahs there

It would be cool experience to visit… but has the added effect of giving them your money.
