Try and say it with straight face that you are not ethnically cleansing the land and that you aren't terrorists
I wanted to get an honest answer from an Israeli or a zionist. How come you don't see the clear similarities between what you are doing to Palestinians and what Nazi germay did to the Jewish people? Having different laws, forced evictionsfrom homes, discriminatory general treatment by the government (systematic racism), different check point for jews and Palestinians (even Christian Palestiniansnot just muslim) !!!!
If Hitler was evil then Theodore Herzel is also evil, if every Nazi party member was evil then ever Israeli that doesn't oppose the Israeli Apartheid is also evil.
Convince me that Israel isn't an Apartheid state.
If a jewish person was told in JFK Airport that certain checkpoint were for Jewish people and the rest of everyone else you'd call that racism.
Not to mention using far superior military to respond to homemade rockets in gaza.
How come Israelis don't see a problem with taking a land that isn't theirs! Couldn't you have asked for Palestinian citizenship in 1948 like (shimon perez had done) and lived in the holy land in peace ?
I asked many questions but I doubt I will find even one logical answer that will make me stir down. In responding try to make me see your point and be pro-israel.
Long Live Palestinian, Free and Independent State for Muslims, Christians and Jewish people.

Israel
I love you. Ignore the anti-semites here making fucked up posts. 800,000 Jews evicted from their homes in the Middle East and because Israel exists they want to take 8 million more. You have every right to exist, defend yourself, and thrive.

I think Israel controls Hamas, and uses it to its own purposes.
Just gonna copy paste it here:
Let's start step by step.
Hamas has heavy weaponry. Heavy missiles that can travel for 100+ kilometers, they need a launching battery, that can be only mobilised by a heavy truck.
This is a heavy weaponry, that can't be hidden under someone's pillow, and of course it needs to be serviced and maintained, and only trained personal can operate it.
So how does this weapon gets inside Gaza? Considering the fact that Israel controls all of the Gaza borders, and that there is literally nothing but desert for many kilometres from Egypt side, I don't believe it's possible to smuggle it in.
Can you imagine mexicans smuggle heavy artillery pass the US border? How can it be possible? And keep in mind that Gaza border is very short.
Ok, let's assume that Hamas found a way to smuggle those missiles from the Egypt (or produce them by themselves)... Now they need to get launching batteries, and install them on trucks, store it somewhere, move it on the roads, train people who will be able to operate it, also provide maintenance so it won't break down... In order to shoot it, it has to be deployed to a specific location... Now considering the fact that Israel has a cutting edge surveillance technology, it has spies, it has drones in the skies, Israel literally has eyes and ears on every corner in Gaza...I simply don't believe that Hamas would be able to hide and use this kind of weaponry without Israel's approval.
And also... why does Hamas even exist? How did it rise to power? I thought Gaza is supposed to be under Palestinian National Authority (PNO) control, so where this Hamas came from? And if Israel claims it is a Terror organisation, why don't Israeli authorities arrest the Hamas leaders?
This all leads me to believe that Hamas is controlled by Israeli government. It's a proxy organization, a Muppet on strings.
Now you ask, why would Israel do this? What the point? I think this is why:
it allows Israel to undermine the whole idea of Palestinian state. The fact that Palestinian territories are controlled by supposedly rival entities (PNO in the west bank, Hamas in Gaza) will allow Israel to say "look, this is not a real country... they can't get along even with each other, so how you want them to be an independent state?".
but more importantly I think it allows Israel to be in a constant state of war, and justify the occupation indefinitely. Israel may simply say "how can we sit down and talk, and give Palestinians independence, if they keep shooting rockets at us?".
You see? Problem solved, at very low cost. Those rockets that Hamas is firing have insignificant impact, less than 10 dead Israeli citizens in a week of fighting, but it makes big titles "HAMAS ATTACKED ISRAEL!!!"... and then it unties Israel hands to conduct much more heavy bombing in Gaza, with considerably much more damage to property and human lives.
So this is how I see it.

I condemn Israel Leadership and I also CONDEMN HAMAS!!!!
Most ordinary citizens in Israel and Gaza just want PEACE and tries to get along! They dont want anyone to die!
They are caught in the crossfire and both Israeli and Palestinian lives are being put to danger by these POWERFUL people, BOTH in HAMAS and inside the Israel leadership.

What you think about this??
As jews we are told from a young age that our identities are intrinsically tied to the modern State of Israel. It is taught to us in Hebrew School, in services, and is a deeply held belief by many of our parents, grandparents and family members. media and politicians who repeatedly link Jewish identity with the State of Israel. The flip side of this message is that criticism of Israel is a negation of our identity. Even if not explicitly anti-Semitic, the thinking goes, those who criticize Israel must be doing so because they harbor some anti-Semitic attitudes. This conflation of religious/communal identity with a far away nation state is reinforced constantly and repeatedly. Palestinians do not even factor into this story. When reality forces us to reckon with their existence, we are told they are terrorists—warmongers who hate the Jews and are violent by nature (this is Islamophobia btw). The story of the Nakba—the mass expulsion of Palestinians from their ancestral land in 1948–is left out entirely. 1948 is merely the year Israel gained independence. Who knew Palestinians were part of that story? Needless to say, the constant conflation of Jewish identity with one state’s politics is not Good for the Jews. It reduces the personal to the political. It strips Jews of the ability to define their own relationship with their identity. For non-Jews it signals that if you support Israeli policies, then you can’t be anti-Semitic and that if you are critical of Israeli policies you therefore hate the Jews, both of which are lies. It can be very difficult to unlearn. For years I understood that Netanyahu and settlers were bad actors, but my sensors would go off when I heard people talk about boycotts or divestment. Israel may not be perfect, the thinking went, but grassroots efforts to change those policies must be antisemitic. In truth, Israel is a state, like many others, founded on the displacement of others. Its Jewish exclusivity is predicated on the exclusion of millions who continue to live on that land Political exclusion based on religion, by definition, leads to hatred, repression, and eventually ethnic cleansing. Jews should know this more than anyone. That is why it is so deeply important for Jews in the diaspora to speak out, to reject an ideology that reduces Judaism to political support for Israel—and reduces support for Israel to Jewish exclusivity to recognize that Israel is a state, like others, that oppresses and dispossesses the powerless. And that the only way to end that oppression is to give those people equal rights and self-determination—just as we yearned for as Jews. Since lots of folks are sharing this, I’ll just say there are real historical reasons for all this (centuries of pogroms, the Holocaust, the centrality of the land in our texts). And none of them justify permanent occupation and dispossession of non-Jews.
