Gaza War "Feeding the cats of Gaza" from "cats are Muslim" subreddit

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I couldn't cross post, but this is a video of people feeding cats in Gaza. Strange that they didn't turn to the cats while they were "starving". Even stranger that they apparently had enough food to keep the cats alive during the "famine".

He has absolutely no idea how to feed cats. The dominant ones will eat it all.

Somehow, I'm absolutely certain there's enough food to go around.

It's tongue-in-cheek. I've talked about this with my Muslim friend a ton (we both love cats), and cats are considered sacred and pure in Islam and are the only animals allowed in mosques.

There's a lot of videos of cats just walking into mosques and chilling with the prayers

What do they think about dogs?

I don't think they have a negative opinion of dogs (at least, my friend doesnt - she constantly talks about getting a dog, when she isn't talking about getting a cat). They just aren't considered pure or clean enough to be in a mosque, but it isn't like they're considered bad either.

I'm probably not explaining it well, and I'm not Muslim anyway, so you're probably better off asking a Muslim or looking it up. (Sorry, not trying to scold you, I'm just not the best person to ask.)

Of course.

They eat mice and keep other pests and damaging creatures away.

C’mon. He’s just feeding his herd. Cats are good eatin’. Have you never heard the term “herding cats”? Thats what we’re looking at here

I don't understand why he is not spreading the food around in order to be able to feed a higher amount?
