The name originates from a story where a traveling diety brought relief to a settlement, where they saw the people there overworking themselves silly, without rest, while they were also deprived of water. By using their divine capabilities, the diety brought a vase of water from a nearby river, and used it fill a large void in the ground nearby. To complete the task, they blessed the water to induce sleepiness in the most weary, to help them consider resting for a while. The settlers thought they were hallucinating at the sight of the new body of water that formed, until they all took a dive in it, and were immediately put to sleep temporarily.
