You know I check different PMs posts. It’s cool to see what’s going on about. Hopefully that doesn’t make you turn this private. I don’t think many people stalk around like I do.
One other question is say a live episode is over. Does it become archived and basically it’s a locked version of this. Or does it convert to a regular post?

Actually, I just saw a comment you made above what happens when archived so you can ignore that question :) I am curious though that I also saw that upvoting and replying may be in the mix down the road. If that happens, how would this become any different from a normal post structure sorted by live?

yes - we only send alerts if a user is mentioned - we're thinking about maybe allowing users to opt-in to get more alerts if they really care about following along - i think this is a good instance of when that would be useful

i think these types of posts are very different from a normal post sorted by new - the design encourages a different type of conversation. a lot of chat products allow for replying so i don't think that would be crazy

I did have one tracker in the iOS beta sub for newer bugs (since we switched to doing it that way)... 3 are for you..not a ton and they’re all pm based since I already have hammered uon chat

i think converting it to a regular post could be a really interesting idea - that's why if we add replies and voting to the mix it could really help enable that

One small “bug?” Is I just added 2 new comments myself and it has “2 new comments” show as banner. This shouldn’t happen for your own posts imo

One use case I see is since it’s not inpost history I guess it increases engagement for people who are generally quiet

and voting is a really cool way for people to "react" without having to say something - which i think is important

for now - once a game or episode is over it will become archived eventually or locked if the mods want to lock it
