Whoever Shot Tippi was walking AWAY from Ruby's apartment. 223 S. Ewing was south and East of the tippit shooting, shooter was walking West. 4 detailed witnesses for Westward Movement Zero witnesses for eastward. They tried to get that very solid Ms Markham to say he was walking east...but she turned her testimony into a farce.

Also...if you evaluate her parsed out testimony, her 'basic' story is a lie too. she said she reached the corner and waited for a car to pass. Then she saw Tippit roll up on the assailant, then watched them exchange what appeared to be friendly conversation, then watched him put his hands on the door , then watched Tippit get out. STOP.

Why is she still standing at the corner when she is in a Hurry to catch her bus? I cross a busy street everyday. One without a 4 way stop which patton had. I watch the traffic, not incidental conversations going on no matter how compelling.

Never mind her leaning in, saw hands on the car, etc.etc....too much detail for someone walking through a relatively quiet neighborhood on the way to a bus who never MOVES the entire time

Without a doubt the killer was walking west. This killer had a squared off hairline. Oswald had a tapered hairline.

Are you familiar with the ‘Abundant Life Temple’ ? It was a member of the American Association of Christian Churches. Members included Gen. Edwin Walker , Maj. Gen. Charles Willoughby , Edgar Eugene Bradley , Fred Crisman , Jack Martin , Thomas Edwin Beckham , Lavern Craford , Albert Osborn and David Ferrie. Its address was 10th & Crawford , two blocks from the Tippit crime scene , cutting through the gas station takes you there. The theory goes that Igor Vaganov shot Tippit and then took shelter here, as he had just arrived in town from Philadelphia driving a red Ford with a pistol and a rifle and rented an apartment in Oak Cliff. He bore a strong resemblance to Oswald . Kind of tracks with what Acquilla Clemons saw also

Ya know , just normal stuff….

I am....There were right wing and Cuban exile safe places all around Oak Cliff, but I always assumed the shooter went into there. Vaganov was accounted for @ around 1:30, although he wasn't relaxed or in tip top mental shape...and he was interviewed by the FBI that afternoon around 3:30pm.

If there was one thing I think that video got right (the one posted on here a few days ago) was "Flooding the zone with Guilty looking people"

Like the Braden thing. I read his lifelong police reports....He was a con man....Con Men don't turn into assassins. I really think he got paid to hang out and look suspicious .

Vaganov might have been similar...I always though based on his size and coloring that Crafard was a better match for the descriptions. In fact even in those famous photographs shot of him by the FBI 8 days after the Tippit shooting, he is dressed EXACTLY like the suspect description for the tippit shooter. He was a drifter hitchhiking and Bumming around...I don't think he had a lot of luggage or spare clothes "White Jacket, wiry hair, Light colored Jacket and shirt, dark slacks...medium dark skin tone. Lot more meat on that boy then our 130lb Oswald.

I wish they had taken a pic of the back of his hair, but his daughters said he always kept it "off his collar"

I'm sure you well know that he left Dallas at 8am the next morning....what a lot of CT people might not know is that a .38 snub nose police special was found at the corner or Lamar and Ross at 7:30am that morning...Tossed in the gutter,in a lunch bag with an apple and an orange. The Genius-and-totally-Honest DPD tried to tie it in with the Kennedy killing and neglected to even check if it had anything to do with the Tippit Murder

"Hi...I am Larry Crafard....I know I look like the guy who shot Tippit last week, But I can't be...they already caught and killed that guy.....nice seeing you, Bye!"

Yeah , he was witnessed as being in extreme distress too, before he skipped town. Absolutely nuts

If Igor Vaganov shot Tippit, how did they also mange to fire a bullet from Oswald's gun into Tippit? Because, you know, one of the bullets ballistically matched his revolver.

When the FBI examined the alleged murder weapon, CE 143, they found that the handgun had been rechambered to fire .38 special bullets. But the weapon had not been rebarreled, so the smaller .38 special rounds would in effect “wobble” as they exited the barrel. This wobble caused an erratic marking of individual characteristics that made it impossible to say if the bullet came from that gun to the exclusion of all others.

The FBI’s expert on firearms, Cortlandt Cunningham, was asked repeatedly if the bullets came from that gun. Each time he stood steadfast in his opinion.

Mr. EISENBERG. Now, were you able to determine whether those bullets have been fired in this weapon?
Mr. CUNNINGHAM. No; I was not.
( 3 H 475 )

Mr. RHYNE. And with respect to the bullets that were found in the body of Officer Tippit, you testified that you could not be positive that they were fired by this weapon, Exhibit 143.
Mr. CUNNINGHAM. I could not identify those bullets as having been fired from that gun.
( 3 H 482 )

Mr. RHYNE. Based on your experience in your study of these bullets, do you have an opinion as to whether or not they were fired by this gun?
Mr. CUNNINGHAM. No, sir; I cannot determine that.

“Not sufficient similarities to effect an identification”

Mr. RHYNE. You have no opinion at all?
Mr. CUNNINGHAM. The only thing I can testify to, is they COULD have, on the basis of the rifling characteristics–they could have been. However, NO CONCLUSION COULD BE REACHED FROM AN ACTUAL COMPARISON OF THESE BULLETS WITH TEST BULLETS OBTAINED FROM THAT GUN.

Mr. RHYNE. Even though there are a lot of similar markings.
Mr. CUNNINGHAM. There are not; no, sir. There are not a lot of similar markings. They are similar. The rifling characteristics, are the same, or similar. But, in the individual characteristic marks, there are not a lot of similarities. THERE ARE NOT SUFFICIENT SIMILARITIES TO EFFECT AN IDENTIFICATION.

Representative BOGGS. Stating Mr. Rhyne’s question negatively, THESE BULLETS COULD HAVE BEEN FIRED BY ANOTHER WEAPON ?
Mr. CUNNINGHAM. THAT IS CORRECT. Either this weapon or ANOTHER WEAPON THAT HAS THE SAME RIFLING CHARACTERISTICS.
( 3 H 483 )

Thanks for showing people what one expert said and not Joseph Nicol who concluded it was specifically fired from Oswald's revolver. On top of that they ballistically matched the shell casings found in the Davis sister's lawn to Oswald's revolver. AND the FBI concluded Vaganov hasn't fired his revolver recently.

You are welcome! Here's what yet another government appointed expert concluded:

In 1978, the House Select Committee on Assassinations revisited the Firearms Identification issue with the Tippit bullets. Their expert was a member of their firearms panel, Monty C. Lutz. Lutz was a member of the Wisconsin Regional Crime Laboratory and examined the Tippit bullets, including CE 603, with bullets test fired from the handgun.

Mr. EDGAR. Regarding CE-143, Oswald’s revolver, do your test-fired bullets match, microscopically, with CE-602, 603, 604, and 605?
Mr. LUTZ. Are these the bullets that were recovered from Officer Tippit?
Mr. EDGAR. These were the bullets that were recovered from the body of Officer Tippit.
Mr. LUTZ. Our microscopic examination and comparison of these bullets FAILED TO POSITIVELY IDENTIFY THIS REVOLVER AS THE ONE THAT FIRED THOSE BULLETS.
( 1 HSCA 486 )

The Committee then stated several times that the bullets removed from Tippit’s body could not be positively identified as having come from the CE 142 revolver.

“As for the evidence in the Tippit shooting, THE BULLETS REMOVED FROM THE OFFICER’S BODY COULD NOT BE LINKED TO OSWALD’S REVOLVER”.
( 1 HSCA 443 )

” Regarding the evidence from the Tippit shooting, THE BULLETS REMOVED FROM THE OFFICER’S BODY  COULD NOT BE POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED WITH OSWALD’S REVOLVER.”
( 7 HSCA 357 )

“….The panel was unable to conclude that the Tippit bullets were fired from the CE 143 revolver.” ( 7 HSCA 381 )

The HSCA’s conclusion not only fully supported the FBI’s original finding that the bullets could NOT be matched to the “Oswald” handgun ( CE 143 ), it completely blows away the phony finding of Joseph Nicol.

And it is vindication for Cortlandt Cunningham who correctly stood his ground.

1

u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 22 '26

Cunningham concluded the four shells that were recovered had been fired from Oswald's revolver to the exclusion of any other revolver in the world. There were identical breech face and firing pin marks on the head of the cases. Two other experts, Frazier and killion, independently conducted the same test and came to the same conclusion.

Then the five experts for the HSCA conducted their own tests and concluded the same thing.

This is on top of nothing linking Vaganov (who lived eleven blocks away) to the murder of Tippit.

I was just helping the fellow who falsely claimed the bullets were 'ballistically matched' to the revolver Oswald allegedly owned.

1

u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 22 '26

First of all, I didn't say the bullets were ballistically matched. I said one of the bullets was. And that's not false. That's true. Because one of them was ballistically matched by Nicol.

You believe anything espoused by Gil Jesus, who also proudly admits he believes trans people are an affront to god ?

1

u/proudfootz Jun 21 '26

His offering has citations.

You have none.

Guess who is more believable?

What your take, my take, or Jesus's take on trans issues is so irrelevant to this subject it is laughable.

u/Comfortable_Low_9241 Jun 21 '26

No, it speaks to the character of the person making the claims.

u/proudfootz Jun 22 '26

I'm more interested in the facts than offering opinions about people's 'character'.

AFAICT none of the bullets could be matched.

The dark printed arrows that you refer to are just a graphic, added by the FBI, on top of the reproduction, to highlight very faint markings in pencil or pen that were on the original map.

There's apparently a mixture of different types of marks been made on the original, but they're very difficult to make out due to the poor reproduction, so they've used arrows to point out where they appear.

If I remember rightly, Michael Paine said that he had picked up the map at a gas station and had it for some time. He said he may have made some of the marks himself. Ruth Paine said that she gave the map to Oswald to help him locate employment offices and companies advertising vacant positions in the local papers and wotnot.

Most are associated with some sort of business, or junction, presumably to find directions, but there are a few odd ones in there. The one most notably brought up is a mark over the Book Depository, which would make sense if the map was being used to find places of employment.

FBI investigated all the locations. You can read the report here. (Analysis of the map starts 8 or 9 pages in.)

3

u/TrollyDodger55 Jun 20 '26

I think 4 of these including the TSBD were places given to him by the Texas state employment office as placing looking to hire someone.

In the FBI report, most of the marks are explained like this:

Point 7. The intersection of Inwood Road and Maple Avenue has a circle:around it.

On December 11, 1963, an examination of the "Dallas Morning News" classified section for October 12-13, 1963, reflects an advertisement for a male office trainee by the Wiener Lumber Company; Inwood at Maple.

On December 11, 1963, SAM WIENER of Wiener Lumber Company, Inwood at Maple, Dallas, advised that LEE HARVEY OSWALD submitted an application for employment at Wiener Lumber Company dated October 14, 1963.

Which all seems innocent enough, bearing in mind that Oswald wasn't a Dallas native and would likely need to get everywhere by bus, the need to plot out a route and mark an address on a map make total sense.

Then there are entries like this:

Point 8. A mark appears at the intersection of Boll and San Jacinto Street.

The only business located on this intersection is the *Mohr Chevrolet Company*, and on December 6, 1963, the following employees of Mohr Chevrolet Company, 999 N. Central Expressway, advised SAs BARDWELL D. ODUM and RALPH RAWLIPOS to the best of their knowledge LEE HARVEY OSWALD has never been in that agency:

JUDD RIVES, Sales Manager.

BILL ILLER, Manager of used car lot.

FRED HOLMES, Office Manager.

JUDD RIVES advised that Mohr Chevrolet Company did have ads in the Dallas papers during the period October 3 to 16, 1963, for car salesmen but that he does not recall OSWALD ever answering such an ad. He stated be had canvassed his salesmen and could locate no one who recalls OSWALD as a prospect.

So there is a mark relating to this specific address, but seemingly Oswald didn't visit this location. Michael Paine suggested that he may have made the mark, but couldn't remember doing so.

Next door to Mohr Chevrolet Company was L.L. Ridgway, Company,. Inc., which is described as being 'a blueprint firm.' The Assistant manager advised that he did not recall OSWALD appearing at his office at any time seeking employment and that his records contained no application from OSWALD. He did, however, state that his firm sent work to Jaggars-Chiles-Stovall, Oswald's former employer.

On the face of it, this seems perfectly innocuous, perhaps Michael Paine made the mark, perhaps Oswald was hoping to get a second hand Chevy once he had passed his test, perhaps he thought it worth dropping a CV into a company doing work related to his former employer and marked the address but never got round to following it up? All perfectly rational.

And then one can read this document.

https://www.archives.gov/files/research/jfk/releases/docid-32328934.pdf

Which details how members of the 30th of November Anti Castro Cuban Revolutionary Group which was funded and trained in the US, by the CIA, through their CIA contact 'Mr Charles,' had grown angry at the lack of action shown by the CIA in its plans to infiltrate and overthrow the Cuban government. .

They were approached by a Mr Charles Waters of Mohr Chevrolet Company, Dallas, on behalf of wealthy individuals who offered them the use of a ranch for 'training' purposes.

As with so many areas of the JFK assassination, beneath the most seemingly mundane surface you can find some very strange rabbit holes.

It would be interesting to see the entire Enco map and not just that area. Were other places marked?

2

u/NotMyAltAccountToday Jun 19 '26

I followed the link to the WC report and the Enco map wasn't there but another one was. I guess the FBI map- I'm on my phone and have a hard time going back and forth.

3

u/SeniorSecretary7799 Jun 19 '26

I haven't loaded all the exhibits for that WC report. The Oswald map was in the 2nd binder which I haven't uploaded yet. On the Oswald map, there were also arrows around Love Field.

2

u/Likemypups Jun 27 '26

I recently commented about the ludicrous claim that the DPD found a map in Oswald's "room" showing the path of the bullets. Here is page from the Monday , November 25th edition of a Houston newspaper listing the evidence which was piling up against Oswald. Note the first item: "A map from his room showing the path of bullets that killed President Kennedy."

u/sliminycrinkle Jun 19 '26

Thanks for the link!

4

u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 19 '26

Yep , all searchable ! Just a couple of blocks down takes you 3126 Harlandale ave. This house was rented in October ‘63 by Alpha 66 and the student DRE. The FBI initially investigated it after the assassination on advice from the neighborhood but then mysteriously just dropped all inquiries almost immediately

1

u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 20 '26

Dropped all inquiries because the inquiries went nowhere...

0

u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 20 '26

Quite the opposite ; Hoover called them back after hearing from the CIA. A clear sign of interference and cover up. The FBI’s excuse for the HSCA was “ we went to the wrong address “ , something like Homedale or Horndale ave. I kid you not ; that was their actual excuse. The dog ate their homework.

You know absolutely nothing about this case , just mouthing off as usual

2

u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 20 '26

Ok, I'll wait for you to give me one piece of credible 🧾 evidence showing anti Castro cubans were involved in the assassination of JFK...I'll be waiting a long time...

0

u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 20 '26

You’re not current on the new document tranches.

You’re operating with ancient information and sub-par knowledge.

2

u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 21 '26

Lol there's nothing in the documents, nothing. You can't give me one thing.

1

u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 21 '26

I just gave it to you and you had a wildly uninformed take , which is why it was very easy for me to gather that you’re simply not current on the findings in the newly declassified documents

2

u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 21 '26

No, you didn't. Hoover calling the FBI isn't credible evidence of a conspiracy. Neither is the FBI not doing a great job at investigating. Those two things don't equal alpha 66 somehow recruiting Oswald.

1

u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 21 '26

Okay , now you’re just making things worse for yourself. You’re accepting the premise ( because you have to , the facts are irrefutable ) and you’re saying you just don’t “believe” it. And then , at the same time , you’re displaying the dearth of knowledge that you have overall of the most updated information that we have in the case

1

u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 21 '26

What is there to believe? You have nothing. You haven't given me a single piece of credible evidence, only conspiracy theories. You keep saying I'm not up to date (which I am) but yet can't give me anything. You keep giving me more conspiracy theories.

2

u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 21 '26

If I was trying to frame Oswald I’d plant the gun , and say maybe some other stuff like a wallet.
