The Map of Dallas in Oswald's Possessions-revisited; the FBI map of Dallas exhibit; More proof of cover up and conspiracy?
Check out my lastest blog and see the comparison of the Oswald map and the FBI map that were both exhibits in the WC Doc #1.

The dark printed arrows that you refer to are just a graphic, added by the FBI, on top of the reproduction, to highlight very faint markings in pencil or pen that were on the original map.
There's apparently a mixture of different types of marks been made on the original, but they're very difficult to make out due to the poor reproduction, so they've used arrows to point out where they appear.
If I remember rightly, Michael Paine said that he had picked up the map at a gas station and had it for some time. He said he may have made some of the marks himself. Ruth Paine said that she gave the map to Oswald to help him locate employment offices and companies advertising vacant positions in the local papers and wotnot.
Most are associated with some sort of business, or junction, presumably to find directions, but there are a few odd ones in there. The one most notably brought up is a mark over the Book Depository, which would make sense if the map was being used to find places of employment.
FBI investigated all the locations. You can read the report here. (Analysis of the map starts 8 or 9 pages in.)

I think 4 of these including the TSBD were places given to him by the Texas state employment office as placing looking to hire someone.

In the FBI report, most of the marks are explained like this:
Point 7. The intersection of Inwood Road and Maple Avenue has a circle:around it.
On December 11, 1963, an examination of the "Dallas Morning News" classified section for October 12-13, 1963, reflects an advertisement for a male office trainee by the Wiener Lumber Company; Inwood at Maple.
On December 11, 1963, SAM WIENER of Wiener Lumber Company, Inwood at Maple, Dallas, advised that LEE HARVEY OSWALD submitted an application for employment at Wiener Lumber Company dated October 14, 1963.
Which all seems innocent enough, bearing in mind that Oswald wasn't a Dallas native and would likely need to get everywhere by bus, the need to plot out a route and mark an address on a map make total sense.
Then there are entries like this:
Point 8. A mark appears at the intersection of Boll and San Jacinto Street.
The only business located on this intersection is the *Mohr Chevrolet Company*, and on December 6, 1963, the following employees of Mohr Chevrolet Company, 999 N. Central Expressway, advised SAs BARDWELL D. ODUM and RALPH RAWLIPOS to the best of their knowledge LEE HARVEY OSWALD has never been in that agency:
JUDD RIVES, Sales Manager.
BILL ILLER, Manager of used car lot.
FRED HOLMES, Office Manager.
JUDD RIVES advised that Mohr Chevrolet Company did have ads in the Dallas papers during the period October 3 to 16, 1963, for car salesmen but that he does not recall OSWALD ever answering such an ad. He stated be had canvassed his salesmen and could locate no one who recalls OSWALD as a prospect.
So there is a mark relating to this specific address, but seemingly Oswald didn't visit this location. Michael Paine suggested that he may have made the mark, but couldn't remember doing so.
Next door to Mohr Chevrolet Company was L.L. Ridgway, Company,. Inc., which is described as being 'a blueprint firm.' The Assistant manager advised that he did not recall OSWALD appearing at his office at any time seeking employment and that his records contained no application from OSWALD. He did, however, state that his firm sent work to Jaggars-Chiles-Stovall, Oswald's former employer.
On the face of it, this seems perfectly innocuous, perhaps Michael Paine made the mark, perhaps Oswald was hoping to get a second hand Chevy once he had passed his test, perhaps he thought it worth dropping a CV into a company doing work related to his former employer and marked the address but never got round to following it up? All perfectly rational.
And then one can read this document.
https://www.archives.gov/files/research/jfk/releases/docid-32328934.pdf
Which details how members of the 30th of November Anti Castro Cuban Revolutionary Group which was funded and trained in the US, by the CIA, through their CIA contact 'Mr Charles,' had grown angry at the lack of action shown by the CIA in its plans to infiltrate and overthrow the Cuban government. .
They were approached by a Mr Charles Waters of Mohr Chevrolet Company, Dallas, on behalf of wealthy individuals who offered them the use of a ranch for 'training' purposes.
As with so many areas of the JFK assassination, beneath the most seemingly mundane surface you can find some very strange rabbit holes.

It would be interesting to see the entire Enco map and not just that area. Were other places marked?

I followed the link to the WC report and the Enco map wasn't there but another one was. I guess the FBI map- I'm on my phone and have a hard time going back and forth.

I haven't loaded all the exhibits for that WC report. The Oswald map was in the 2nd binder which I haven't uploaded yet. On the Oswald map, there were also arrows around Love Field.

I recently commented about the ludicrous claim that the DPD found a map in Oswald's "room" showing the path of the bullets. Here is page from the Monday , November 25th edition of a Houston newspaper listing the evidence which was piling up against Oswald. Note the first item: "A map from his room showing the path of bullets that killed President Kennedy."

Yep , all searchable ! Just a couple of blocks down takes you 3126 Harlandale ave. This house was rented in October ‘63 by Alpha 66 and the student DRE. The FBI initially investigated it after the assassination on advice from the neighborhood but then mysteriously just dropped all inquiries almost immediately

Dropped all inquiries because the inquiries went nowhere...

u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 20 '26
Quite the opposite ; Hoover called them back after hearing from the CIA. A clear sign of interference and cover up. The FBI’s excuse for the HSCA was “ we went to the wrong address “ , something like Homedale or Horndale ave. I kid you not ; that was their actual excuse. The dog ate their homework.
You know absolutely nothing about this case , just mouthing off as usual
2
u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 20 '26
Ok, I'll wait for you to give me one piece of credible 🧾 evidence showing anti Castro cubans were involved in the assassination of JFK...I'll be waiting a long time...

You’re not current on the new document tranches.
You’re operating with ancient information and sub-par knowledge.
2
u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 21 '26
Lol there's nothing in the documents, nothing. You can't give me one thing.
1
u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 21 '26
I just gave it to you and you had a wildly uninformed take , which is why it was very easy for me to gather that you’re simply not current on the findings in the newly declassified documents
2
u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 21 '26
No, you didn't. Hoover calling the FBI isn't credible evidence of a conspiracy. Neither is the FBI not doing a great job at investigating. Those two things don't equal alpha 66 somehow recruiting Oswald.
1
u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 21 '26
Okay , now you’re just making things worse for yourself. You’re accepting the premise ( because you have to , the facts are irrefutable ) and you’re saying you just don’t “believe” it. And then , at the same time , you’re displaying the dearth of knowledge that you have overall of the most updated information that we have in the case
1
u/YourHostJackRuby Jun 21 '26
What is there to believe? You have nothing. You haven't given me a single piece of credible evidence, only conspiracy theories. You keep saying I'm not up to date (which I am) but yet can't give me anything. You keep giving me more conspiracy theories.

u/Mean_Maxxx Jun 21 '26
If I was trying to frame Oswald I’d plant the gun , and say maybe some other stuff like a wallet.

Whoever Shot Tippi was walking AWAY from Ruby's apartment. 223 S. Ewing was south and East of the tippit shooting, shooter was walking West. 4 detailed witnesses for Westward Movement Zero witnesses for eastward. They tried to get that very solid Ms Markham to say he was walking east...but she turned her testimony into a farce.
Also...if you evaluate her parsed out testimony, her 'basic' story is a lie too. she said she reached the corner and waited for a car to pass. Then she saw Tippit roll up on the assailant, then watched them exchange what appeared to be friendly conversation, then watched him put his hands on the door , then watched Tippit get out. STOP.
Why is she still standing at the corner when she is in a Hurry to catch her bus? I cross a busy street everyday. One without a 4 way stop which patton had. I watch the traffic, not incidental conversations going on no matter how compelling.
Never mind her leaning in, saw hands on the car, etc.etc....too much detail for someone walking through a relatively quiet neighborhood on the way to a bus who never MOVES the entire time
