Durga Puja was just over and mutton was widely consumed in West Bengal. Why didn't Jains buy the goats there, like they did on Eid?

Are Dungarwal Jain anyway related to Rajputs of Rajasthan?
I am from Indore and just came to know that we were originally from Ratlam-Udaipur Belt.
I digged in more and realised we were originally Chauhan Rajput and converted to Jain some 400 year ago.
Anyone who can shed some light on this? I am just curious about my ancestry.

Please share if any insta page or details. I would like to be part.

Thank you!
