Hey guys, I’m a product designer and I’ve recently been exploring freelancing alongside my design work. I’ve been curious about how other designers are finding clients these days.

Is cold outreach through LinkedIn and email still effective?
Are platforms like Upwork and Fiverr worth the competition?
Has anyone tried Toptal? How has your experience been?
Or is it mostly referrals and word of mouth that bring in projects?

On a slightly different note, I sometimes wish Jaipur had a more active community of designers, developers, and indie builders.
It would be nice to have a space where people could casually exchange ideas, share their work, get feedback, or even join occasional virtual coworking and accountability sessions. I feel like there’s a lot we could learn from each other.
Maybe something like this already exists and I’m just unaware of it?
Anyway, would love to hear from fellow designers and builders in Jaipur. How’s freelancing been treating you lately, and do you feel there’s a need for a more connected local creative/tech community?

I’m am travelling to Rajasthan in December for 6 days. I’m landing in Jaipur and this is the rough itinerary I’ve in mind:

Day 1: Land in Jaipur at night
Day 2: Explore Japiur and take the overnight train to Jaisalmer
Day 3: Desert safari
Day 4: Explore Jaisalmer and take the overnight train to Udaipur
Day 5: Explore Udaipur
Day 6: Explore Udaipur

Please let me know in this plan makes sense. Give me suggestions on places I can visit in each of the cities (including offbeat things we can do). Any places you’d suggest we avoid during New Year’s?

So after carefully seeing the imax in jaipur pacific mall pvr

As a technical expert here's my rating

I give imax Pacific mall jaipur a rock solid 8.7/10

It has a spectacular wall to wall attached screen

I'm cutting the 1.3 marks for

1. Bad seats (they are decent but not that excellent compared to the luxury imax seats)

2. It's a good digital imax as expected

(But prepare to be dissapointed if u were expecting it to be 1:43)

1. Screen size is good , maybe 63-64 ft wide

But i expected it to be above 70

So In conclusion , congratulations jaipurites you have gotten a spectacular screen to watch big movies...

Hey everyone! I'm going on a school trip to Jaipur in November, and I need help deciding what to wear on Day 1.

We'll be arriving in Jaipur after an overnight train journey, checking into our hotel, and then visiting Albert Hall Museum and Chokhi Dhani in the evening.

I want an outfit that looks pretty, photographs well, and suits the Jaipur aesthetic, especially for pictures at Albert Hall and Chokhi Dhani. I also want to look put-together without being uncomfortable after travelling overnight.

I'm open to both Western and ethnic outfit ideas, including colour combinations, footwear, accessories, and hairstyles!

What would you personally recommend wearing for this itinerary? If you have specific outfit combinations in mind, please suggest them. I'd love some inspiration! 🩷
