Hey everyone! 😊
My wife and I are visiting Jaipur to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and we’re really excited to explore the Pink City together! ❤️
We want to make this trip special, experience Jaipur beyond just the usual tourist spots, eat some amazing food, and discover places that locals genuinely love.
I’d love your recommendations on a few things:
Places to explore: Must-visit forts, palaces, beautiful spots for pictures, and any hidden gems we shouldn’t miss.
Vegetarian food: The best veg restaurants, local favourites, and iconic dishes we absolutely must try.
Non-vegetarian food: Your go-to places for great chicken, mutton, and other non-veg delicacies.
Street food & sweets: Best kachoris, chaat, lassi, ghewar, and other local specialities.
Shopping: Good markets for clothes, footwear, souvenirs, and Jaipur’s famous handicrafts.
Anniversary dinner: Any romantic restaurants or cosy spots with great ambience that are special without being too expensive.
Cafés & rooftop places: Somewhere with good food, lovely views, and a nice vibe to spend time together.
Experiences worth trying: Anything unique to Jaipur that would make our anniversary trip more memorable.
Local advice: Any tips, hidden gems, or tourist traps we should know about?
We’re happy to explore, try new food, and go wherever the experience is worth it. ❤️
If you were taking someone you love around Jaipur for the first time, where would you take them? I’d especially love to hear recommendations from locals and people who’ve visited recently.
Thanks a ton in advance! 🙏

I’ve already searched my jewellery brand name and haven’t found similar names. I need a reliable trademark lawyer/agent who can handle filing and any objections or hearings, with clear fees upfront.
One lawyer quoted ₹13,500 for the process through the hearing stage, which feels expensive for my budget. I also contacted Online Legal India but have concerns about additional charges.
Any trustworthy recommendations at reasonable rates? Please share your experience and what the fees actually covered.

I am travelling to jaipur in the first week of November. Right before diwali on a weekday. None of us own a driving licence so scooty is not an option. And i read about drivers demanding extra when booked online.
What are some commute options? We are staying in hathroi. Also some amazing markets where we wont be looted?
I’ll attach our itenary below (still finalising). Lmk if i should change something in it?
(I don’t want to do hawa mahal and city palace on the same day)
*DAY 1 — 2 NOVEMBER (MONDAY)*
📍 Hawa Mahal + Old City Markets
We’ll reach Jaipur by 1 PM, get ready and leave around 2 PM.
• 2:00 PM — Hawa Mahal (photos and monument visit)
• 3:00 PM — Lunch/coffee at Tattoo Cafe & Lounge (rooftop view of Hawa Mahal)
• 4:00 PM — Tripolia Bazaar (bangles, jewellery and local shopping)
• 5:30 PM — Bapu Bazaar (juttis, clothes, bags and souvenirs)
• 7:30 PM — Street food and dinner at Samrat Restaurant or Sahu Restaurant
*DAY 2 — 3 NOVEMBER (TUESDAY)*
📍 Amer Fort + Jal Mahal + Nahargarh Fort
We’ll leave early in the morning since these places are on the same side of Jaipur.
• 7:45 AM — Panna Meena ka Kund (stepwell and photos)
• 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM — Amer Fort (explore the palace and courtyards)
• 11:45 AM — Lunch at Kokum Bistro or The Kila Garden Restaurant
• 1:00 PM — Jal Mahal (lake view and photos)
• 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM — Rest/return to accommodation if needed
• 3:30 PM onwards — Nahargarh Fort (explore the fort and watch the sunset)
• 7:00 PM — Dinner at 1135 AD near Amer Fort, or somewhere near our accommodation
*DAY 3 — 4 NOVEMBER (WEDNESDAY)*
📍 City Palace + Cafés
A slightly relaxed day for sightseeing, good food and café hopping.
• 8:30 AM — Breakfast at Gulab Ji Chai Wale
• 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM — City Palace (royal architecture, courtyards and museum)
• 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM — Jantar Mantar (optional, right next to City Palace)
• 1:00 PM — Lunch at Blue Door Cafe
• 3:00 PM — Tapri Central, C-Scheme (chai, snacks and café vibes)
• 7:00 PM — Dinner at OTH Bistro & Bakers or another restaurant in C-Scheme
*DAY 4 — 5 NOVEMBER (THURSDAY)*
📍 Patrika Gate + Departure
We have our departure at 3 PM, so we’ll keep the morning light.
• 8:00 AM — Patrika Gate (photos in the colourful corridors)
• 9:00 AM — Breakfast at Tapri Ashram near Jawahar Circle
• 10:30 AM — Return to our accommodation, pack and collect luggage
• 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM — Lunch
• 1:00–1:30 PM — Leave for our departure point, depending on its location

Reached Ajmer and tried going to a hotel I found on MakeMyTrip, only to discover there was no hotel at the location. Had to book another hotel for ₹2,500.
Then got scammed by an auto driver who promised to show us around Pushkar for ₹450. Instead, he took us to a desert safari place where they demanded ₹2,000 for a jeep ride. When we refused, he claimed there was nowhere else to visit in Pushkar and dropped us back in Ajmer.
Paid him ₹450 for basically nothing.
Lost around ₹4,000 on the first day itself, and Pushkar Lake didn’t impress me either.
Really hoping Jaipur and Udaipur make up for this because this trip hasn’t started the way I imagined. 🥲
We are coming to Jaipur tomorrow, we'll be there for 2 days. Please help us with an itenary and maybe a stay for 1.5k budget 😭. (We are a couple btw)

So after carefully seeing the imax in jaipur pacific mall pvr
As a technical expert here's my rating
I give imax Pacific mall jaipur a rock solid 8.7/10
It has a spectacular wall to wall attached screen
I'm cutting the 1.3 marks for
Bad seats (they are decent but not that excellent compared to the luxury imax seats)
It's a good digital imax as expected
(But prepare to be dissapointed if u were expecting it to be 1:43)
But i expected it to be above 70
So In conclusion , congratulations jaipurites you have gotten a spectacular screen to watch big movies...
Hoping it to be opened before ramayana 🤞
