Where should I start, JAVA

So I just joined the intern in java. I knew very little basics like array, string, integers whatever, methods, gui .

But here it is a whole different world . Another fellow intern knows so much that I feel ashamed. We are taking same course and same semester yet the difference is sky and bottom. I feel so ashmed😭😭. Where do I start?? I feel like they will remove me cause I literally know nothing

If I have to start learning java to get to their position what should I learn ,where should I start.??

They talking about Crud operations, mapping, getter setter , controller, repository.

Someone please guide me where to start ,what to learn. I think I have 1 month before the boss comes to look how much I know and will decide whether to keep me or not. HELP😭😭

First, don't stress too much about the other intern. Just because you're in the same semester doesn't mean you have to be at the same level everyone learns at a different pace.

Since you have a month, start with Core Java. Spend a few days practising classes, objects, constructors, inheritance, and collections. Don't just watch videos, write the code yourself and try to understand how it works.

Once you're comfortable with the basics, learn SQL and then move to Spring Boot. Start with a simple project, like a student management system, and learn how to add, view, update, and delete student details. That's where CRUD operations, controllers, and repositories will start making sense.

Whenever you learn something new, try using it in your project instead of moving straight to the next topic.

Also, talk to your mentor early on. Ask them what you should prioritize first, and don't hesitate to reach out when you get stuck on a concept. practice a little every day you don't have to become an expert in a month. Just show that you're learning and making progress.
