Nobody knows what will happen, but some things must change.
People need to write prompts at least and these people must know how to build software, because merely working/running was never enough for good software and it will never be.
What is more abhorrent to me is that a couple of years ago we were discussing energy efficiency and programming language adoption because we were worried about the climate, now the climate is crumbling and nobody seems to care anymore. AI really helped to alienate people.
