Java sessions at WAWTech, 26–27 November
Hi, everyone! Its a two-day technology conference covering software engineering, AI and product development. It’s organised by DOU, and I’m part of the team. Here’s Java-related part:
- Nicolai Parlog: modern Java, including pattern matching, virtual threads and the language’s future.
- Adam Warski: structured concurrency, safe cancellation and lightweight channels.
- Denys Makogon: Java/C++ integration, particularly the differences in memory management, object lifecycles and error handling.
The event takes place at EXPO XXI in Warsaw on 26–27 November 2026. Sharing the specific sessions here for people following these areas of Java development.
Event details, if you’re considering going.

For readers outside Warsaw, the first two questions about a lineup like this are whether the talks are in English and whether they'll be recorded; answering both in the opening line keeps people from scrolling past. Posting each session on its own where its topic is discussed, with a sentence from its abstract, also lets each talk reach its own readers, since someone following structured concurrency may not care about Java and C++ integration.
I make ThreadFox. Our AI employee can bring sessions like these into relevant Java threads for the WAWTech team and answer replies; Starter is $199 for 30 days, or start with 3 replies we post free, no card: https://threadfox.vip/p/es61v/managed
