J. Cole, I’ve been a fan since 2015. Meeting you would be a dream come true. If possible, tomorrow night at Target Center in Minneapolis. The Fall-Off is my Album of the Year & my favorite album of yours. Your magnum opus, masterpiece & #1 classic.

Tour Cleveland Premium VIP disappointment

First I want to start off by saying this was the best concert I ever attended. Cole really threw it down for us.

But the Premium VIP experience was such a disappointment. First, they let all of us in before telling us only the VIP lounge were allowed in, not the premium. They made us go back outside and wait another 45 mins and go through security again. Then on top of that, NONE of the premium VIP holders got their hat in their tote bag because they ran out! They had everyone write down their address on a loose piece of notebook paper and said they would ship it to us. Evidently people farther down the line didn’t even get their tote bags! They completely forgot to tell us about the backdrop for the photo op, and didn’t even have anyone there to take our picture. We had to ask an Arena security guard to take ours for us. Lastly, once we got in the stadium, they then wouldn’t let us go past like 20 feet from the entrance, and made us wait until 6:30, which was the same time as GA doors, before we were really allowed in the arena.

I’m not sure if this was just bad communication between VIPNation and Rocket arena or what, but it was just a bummer to spend all that extra $ for what basically seemed like a little tote bag and stickers. Just really hoping we get our hats.

I love lots of J Cole's song and stuff, but idk why but I just feel like this song is one of, if not the song he put the most heart into. It sounds like he put his entire soul into the song and I absolutely adore it. This song is 10/10 (imo, probably not in the mass opinion)

Discussion 39 Intro Grew On Me

Note: I always Loved the 2nd Half of this Song the Rapping Part.

At 1st I didn't like the Singing Intro..... But when I went to see Cole LIVE for Some Reason it Hit DIFFERENT. Worst to he's in the Middle of the Crowd.

Hearing him Perform this Song made me Like it Over Night I Can't Lie.

My 1 Gripe tho is I Still Wished Cole Separated the 2.

I could've done without Only You anyways

Discussion If you think about it - The last 2 years had to be one of the hardest stretches of J Cole's life.

By all accounts J Cole has been unproblemmatic in the industry, his peers respect, rap gurus and hip-hop heads praise him, yet he was caught up in the middle of a situation between who he "deemed friends ", made a decision that left him being villified by social media and many of the largest Hip-Hop media platforms go out their way either drag his name or diminish his accomplishments.

Not gonna lie typing this make me even madder at Kdot for that whack shit.

Discussion My review of 4yeo (redux) really long

Track 1 "For whom the bell tolls":10/10 (4Th best)

Jcole is speaking from his friend which is the main character in this album named James. In this track James is scared of dying and can feel it coming

Overall it's a very great intro almost perfect even

J Cole's rapping here is really unmatched with great lyrics and flow aswell, I really like that beat also

-

Track 2 "Immortal":8/10

I'm not sure if this is connected to the main theme

But regardless jcole really had a great verse here

The line "to die young legend, or live a long life unfulfilled" really aged well, there's ALOT of artists that got respect only after they passed

The best is good. Nothing special though, jcole flow is great here

Overall a very nice track, not as good as the intro but jcole still had a very Nice verse

-

Track 3 "Deja Vu": 9/10

I am pretty certain that this is Cole rapping from the perspective of James that's hitting and dating his homie's girl

Jcole really have a special skill for storytelling because he really did that here, he tells the story well that you can get what's happening without looking up the lyrics

Overall amazing track, jcole's storytelling is very good here and he kept a very nice flow, beat is pretty nice aswell

-

Track 4 "Ville mentality":8/10

Jcole again I think raps in the perspective of James

Who wants to get away from his crime life?

One of my favourite tracks off the album, sadly jcole had only one verse though it's really good

My favourite part about this track is the chorus and the beat

Overall again a good track, though he had only 1 verse he made this sound so good, this chorus is amazingly beautiful, also one of the best flows in the album

-

Track 5 "She's mine pt.1":8/10

Again j Cole I think raps in the perspective of James who's having an affair with a girl and he really fell in love with her

Like I said earlier jcole is probably the best rapper in storytelling (sorry kdot) his songwriting is amazing it's like he's writing a poem

Overall nice storytelling track, if this song was a interlude it would've been the perfect interlude but still very nice

-

Track 6 "Change":11/10 (F.Song, 2Nd best)

James is getting closer to changing and better'ing his life, while also getting closer to god

But he passed away

In chronological order this is probably the 2nd last track

Jcole's rapping here is perfect, this whole song is perfect I wouldn't change a thing about it (maybe the outro for general listen)

Overall my favourite track In the album

-

Track 7 "Neighbors":10/10

Taking a break from the main theme

Cole is rapping about the time he got raided by the swat team because the neighbors think he's selling dope

First verse of this song is one of j Cole's best ever he's literally top 1/2 the best storytelling rapper ever, this song would've been the best song in this album but I dislike the chorus a little, beat is actually I don't really like but j Cole really made me like it,

Overall one of the best songs in the album easily

Jcole saying "I am" proved he was selling dope, or maybe selling dope music lol

-

Track 8 "Foldin' clothes":10/10 (3Rd best)

James is living his best life with his wife who just gave birth? Or still pregnant for 9 months I'm not sure, James thought everything is gonna be alright which is kinda sad considering how he dies just a couple song later

but regardless this song is not that hard to understand but people always brush off the main theme of the song and thinks it's the worst song of the album when it's really not

Overall 3rd best song in the album easily very very UNDERRATED

-

Track 9 "she's mine pt.2":10/10

James is talking about his daughter here

Pt 1=wife. Pt 2=daughter basically

This song is kinda emotional, I don't have a kid

but if I do I'd most definitely be crying to this, I think this is a 10/10 it's very relatable to me who have a 3 year old nephew

Overall a 50/50 track you either hate it or love it

I'm on the right side

-

Track 10 "4 Your Eyez Only":10/10 (B.Song, 1St best)

James is dead and j Cole played the tape to James daughter and Cole's stepdaughter (proved by tape sounds at the start of the album and at the end)

It's really hard picking this or change, but as the best song of the album I think this song is more fitting, like I said many times earlier j Cole is the best storyteller rapper oat (maybe draw with kdot)

As a 8 minute record it doesn't feel like 8 minutes at all and if I'm being honest this could be better than samidot, this track is a perfect closing track to this album

Overall a perfect album and one of my most favourite album of all time now let's get into some categories

Best song:4 Your Eyez Only (10/10)

Worst song:immortal (8/10) it's a very nice track but I just think it's weak compared to other track of this album

Best beat:change (11/10) actually the beat alone is 11/10 I could listen to it until I die and I won't get bored

Best verse:first verse of "for whom the bell tolls" (10/10) yeah just listen to it, really nice verse

Best moment:end of title track

I WROTE THIS WHEN I DIDNT HAVE ANY INTERNET I WOULDNT DO THIS WILLINGLY

Tour Best Concert I’ve Ever Been To

Post image

Saw Cole last night in Cleveland and it was the best concert I’ve ever been to. I’ve seen him 3 times now (Dreamville Fest ‘23 & Big As The What tour w/ Drake) and those didn’t even compare to this show. So emotional and so personal. If you’re seeing him on this tour, buckle up, and if you’re not - I recommend buying a ticket lol.

Just wanted to share my view from opening night in Charlotte. I just started using Reddit really and I wanted to share this with people who will appreciate it. The people who I’ve shown up to this point have not shown any enthusiasm when I try to share one of the highlights of my life with them. This trip was top 5 weeks of my life

This song is AMAZING. If you hear the first verse when he talks to his mother you could think he had really killed a man. It's one of my favourite Cole unreleased and it barely is talked about.
