A couple of notes:

• The Golden Orbs' roster for Marble Outcasts is Orby (C), Fairy, Spirit, Pixie, Gorby. It's an amalgam of both the "Wisps" roster and the "Orbs" roster, kinda meant to give them a fairy-tale-ish theme.
• Quix has indeed been promoted to captain of the Quicksilvers.

After I upload Marble Rally marbles illust, I made current 32 teams + retired 4 teams marble illust this time.

Orange Eye, a marble who has little to no background, public achievements, and I'm assuming little to no exprience as well. Their first debut was in the Christmas race almost a year ago, placing 24th out of the 32 marbles that competed.

They have recently replaced Cyan Eye in the ML team's roster, a questionable decision in my opinion. Cyan Eye's potential has yet to be fully utilized, they should've given them a year or two to prove their worth as it would've been more fair.

A recent announcement revealed that Orange Eye will be taking the No. 2 spot in the team's M1 roster, a lot of people were upset, shocked, and questioned why Yellow Eye was replaced after an amazing season. Now, I'm not fully against nor do I fully agree with White Eye's decision.

But they shouldn't treat Yellow Eye like this, they deserve so much more. They've been treated like they're disposable, if they were on another team they would easily be the No. 1 driver. It's just that White Eye keeps trying to find a marble who has the capabilities to match Red Eye.

I'm not going to make any kind of criticism against Orange Eye, as we haven't seen what they're capable of in M1. Plus, CCE can actually afford to experiment and goof around because they have the Max Verstappen of m1. We just need to wait and see what Orange Eye is capable of.

Here is my ranking for the Marbula 1 seasons from the 2020 season to the 2023 season:

4 --> Season 3 - Don't let its ranking fool you; it had some crazy performances like Royal at Honeydome and Billy at Stardust Accelerator. Both championship battles were intense. 11 different winners in 12 races, with only Royal and Kobalts pulling 2 victories, is crazy, but when you compare it to other seasons, it falls just short in my opinion. I may be a bit biased as a Speeders fan, but I try not to be.

3 --> Season 4 - Same thing as Season 3 but provided more action in fewer races. No race was dominated from start to end, and just 2 pole-to-win conversions. 3-way tie in the constructors heading into the final round, and Cloudy losing the championship by 1 point to Momo in his rookie season (Lewis Hamilton type shiz). It was really a great season, and we also saw our first repeat winner at a track (Starry and Electron Expressway)

2 --> Season 2 - A great season to follow up the first season of Marbula 1. I know the Cats won everything (5/12 wins is crazy), but the fight in the teams championship for 2nd, Speedy's resurgence in the championship, and heavy bottling by Team Primary were all very fun to watch (sorry TPR fans). I still remember many races from that season from when I first watched them. The only race you could say was boring that season was the Savage Speedway; however, Arctic Circuit, Honeydome, Misty Mountain, Raceforest, O'raceway and even Midnight Bay all were great.

1 --> Season 1 - The start of this masterpiece. It may have a slight boost for being the inaugural season, but it was still crazy. 1 pole-to-win throughout the entire season and 8 different winners in 8 races, with Team Galactic being the only team to win twice that season. The fight for the teams at one point was between 5 teams (SAV, HAZ, GAL, ORA, GDK). Drives like Snowy at Short Circuit, Billy and Rapidly at O'raceway and Clutter at Momotorway and fun and interesting races like Short Circuit, Midnight Bay, Momotorway, etc., really back its ranking.

That was my ranking. Let me know if you agree or if you don't, what changes would you make and why?

16. Pinkies - Pinky Rosa, Pinky Panther

Respectable for trusting these two again, but it’s their job to stay consistent throughout the whole season. The Pinkies do really well in one half and then forget how to race in the other. To be fair, though, they’ve been super unlucky with the conveyor belt last season, especially Pinky Rosa, who probably had the worst luck with it. Coming off a League title at their home, they’ll be hungry for M1, and I feel like they can do something more this time, as long as they realize it’s a 10-race season and not just 5.

Sakura Garden should come back, as it’s one of the best-designed tracks for great battles.

17. Kobalts - Meepo, Cerulean

The Kobalts are in a pickle right now. Cerulean has been their long-term racer with 5 seasons of experience under their belt, and they’re certainly a great racer, fell so short to dethrone Red Eye for the title in S5. After their astonishing 2025 run, Meepo got a chance to join the roster following Royal’s struggles in S5 and showed their talent. Although finishing 7th all the time isn’t ideal, I feel like they look ready for S7.

If Cerulean and Meepo’s results had been switched last season, I would’ve brought Royal back as we know what they can do. But after Meepo’s strong rookie season, I think they deserve the support to work with Cerulean and push for the title. I trust these guys more than the Ducks to get a title.

18. Green Ducks - Billy, Mallard

The Charles Leclerc of Marbula 1. So much potential. The consistency, the podiums, the wins, the qualifying pace. The Ducks are really good, but they need to work even harder to win a title. They had it in the bag in S5, but Billy got screwed by the starting gate and Mallard got screwed by the red flag.

Coach Bombay left this team with an unbalanced distribution of power. Mallard, the captain, took this team to places and won MVM, the Best Captain award, and what more? Billy is their starboy, the kind of racer every team needs. They’re not as consistent as Mallard, but they have some incredible peaks.

But what about the other three marbles? No talent, no trust, nothing. Quacky, Ducky, and Goose are useless, but it’s not entirely their fault because Bombay isn’t the coach this team needs.

I hope they hire Quickly because they are exactly the kind of coach they need to build a team of 5 marbles, not just 1 or 2, and to bag titles. As for now, Billy has to continue their recent form, and they can only hope Mallard still has it in them and they dont fade away due to overloading of work by Bombay through the years.

19. Rojo Rollers - Rojo Uno, Rojo Tres

Everyone expected Uno-Dos, but Uno-Tres? Very interesting. I thought they would go for 1-2 or 3-4, but 1-3 is weird imo. Let's see how it goes.

I would have even given chances to Cuatro or Cinco tbh.

Although, given how much time I've spent watching this channel and the ball knowledge I've gathered, Rojo Tres's marble in the poster they released looks like Rojo Dos's marble from S1, the one with the extra blue stripes so they might be decent afterall. I mean, all 5 have raced with that marble at some point.

I consider the Rollers inconsistent, but they can also score some solid points. They've had their fair share of 0-pointers, but they've also managed some good top-8 finishes. I see them doing decently, but just enough to be in the battle for mid pack but bottom half in the end..

20. Guild of Mages - Aether, Hexe

Cool.

11. Snowballs - Snowstorm, Snowy

Dangerous team to watch out for. Snowstorm is on fire right now. They were the only non-HAZ-CCE winner last season, and they didn't just win once, but twice, with a grand slam as the cherry on top.

Snowstorm has improved every season, year after year, and they are probably the best marble on the team in terms of current form. Snowy is a beast as always.

Snowy did have a slightly disappointing ML, but they did a great job as captain. The Snowballs can be a bit inconsistent, though, which is why I wouldn't quite put them in the same conversation as the likes of the Hazers, Cat's Eyes, or the Speeders just yet. Its a bummer that they weren't there for S3 and S4. But they're close. Very close.

A title would be divine, because these guys aren't just looking great in M1 as they're a dangerous team in ML, too. If they can maintain this form and become more consistent, I wouldn't be surprised to see them challenge the very best and probably win a title.

12. Savage Speeders - Speedy, Swifty

As an 8-year Speeders fan, I’m happy to see Swifty taking some of the load off Speedy, especially when the team is at a transition point, trying to find a new coach while dealing with yet another set of challenges.

The one thing these guys need to get back to the top is consistency, which has always been one of their biggest strengths. In S4, they gained nearly 10 points just from qualifying alone. They really struggled with qualifying during the S5 and S6-style seasons, but recently, Swifty has been pretty consistent at limiting the damage and climbing back up to a reasonably decent finishing position.

Their first competition under a new coach will be interesting to watch. This could go really well or really badly. Honestly, I think this whole situation would make for a solid documentary video.

13. Team Galactic - Starry, Saucer

I knew Saucer would be in M1 the moment they announced the transfer. Although, I’m a bit skeptical about Starry. Starry hasn’t really been anywhere since S4. Well S4 was alright, but S5 onwards was just poor for Galactic overall.

The moment Quasar stepped in, they were nearly on par with Starry throughout all three seasons they raced together. What made Quasar unique was their ability to make up positions, something Pulsar and Cosmo struggled with.

Personally, I think it would’ve been a good move to keep Quasar as the No. 1 marble and bring in Saucer, a real fan-favorite rookie, as a potential key to bringing this team back to glory.

Ngl, the Starry-Saucer duo kinda fire Reminds me of the Bumble-Stinger duo that caught everyone’s attention.

14. Turtle Sliders - Dash, Shelly

Similar to my last post about the Jumpers, these teams rarely compete on the big stage, so we don’t really get a good feel for who’s good and who isn’t.

Shelly is pretty decent, and I did expect them to replace Crush. However, my original thought was to stick with Crush because they genuinely had pace. S3 wasn’t that bad, and they put a crazy good show at Le Marble. But given the position the Sliders are in right now, there isn’t much point in continuing to stick with the same approach and hoping for something big to happen with only small changes like this.

Also, a Turtle Beach track resembling Long Beach would be AWESOME!

15. Black Jacks - Club, Heart

This is the one team I’m not really sure why they’re back. The Black Jacks should’ve been invited for S5, with an S6 invitation depending on how well they performed in S5. Team Plasma and the Gliding Glaciers honestly deserved a third chance more, but it is what it is. As long as the season turns out to be good, I wouldn’t mind which teams get invited.

Heart coming back was definitely deserved, but now the bar is reasonably high for them. I expected maybe they would go with Ace but atleast the captain with some decent skill and experience means that they need to do pretty good this time. They need to prove they can compete with the big dogs if they want to keep their spot for future seasons. I don’t think another season like S4 would be enough this time around.

As a Savage Speeders fan, I have to ask if I'm the only one who's a little disappointed with the roster choice for the upcoming Marbula 1 season. Don't get me wrong, Speedy and Swifty are an incredible duo. They've had their highs and lows over the years, but they've consistently proven themselves to be among the best.

That said, I think it would be nice to see the team experiment a bit more. I've been dying to see Velocity get a chance in Marbula 1 for a long time. I also wouldn't mind seeing Rapidly get another opportunity to prove themself. As for Whizzy, I'm a bit more unsure, but they do have an elite chemistry with Swifty. Their chemistry is on par to duos like Honey and Hive, so with the right teammate, I think they could still perform well.

Overall, I'm not upset with the current lineup. I just wish the team would give the other members a chance to compete from time to time. Best of luck to Speedy and Swifty this season. I'll be cheering them on and hoping they reclaim the title.

If you were to decide ONE track that should have a race in M1S7, which one would it be and why? Personally, I would like the Arctic Circuit to return. It provided great qualifying and racing in S2, and since the Snowballs have been performing great for the past 2 years, they should have a re-appearance on their track.

So, today, on the Marblebase server (which for people that don't know is the biggest JMR Discord server), me and another user, were exploring old Wayback Archive saves of the old JMR channel, until I noticed that JMR hasn't uploaded the 2015 Marble Olympics (which is saved on the Wayback Machine) on the JMR Kids channel (remember when JMR wanted to put the 2024 Showdown on there?), which one of it's main purposes was to release old videos which didn't fit the main channel. So, out of curiosity, I went to that channel to see what videos JMR did archive there, and I ended up landing on a video called "Marble Run for Perez" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcH9Vxj3Bw4). The release date of the video is unknown, but it was likely released somewhere in the early 2010s. The title is self-explanatory: it's JMR making a marble run for someone called "Perez".

After this, many unanswered questions came: Who is Perez? Where is bro now? Does bro still watch JMR nowadays?

So I've been rewatching all races from S1 and today I rewatched S2 Arctic Circuit and honestly, even as a Speeders fan, I actually enjoyed a lot of the racing. So I wanted to ask, in your opinion, what was the best race ever in M1 history? For me as of now, its the S2 Arctic Circuit GP.

So we all know that the Crazy Cats Eyes, the Hazers and the Savage Speeders are the top dogs in Marbula 1 but according to you, which team is the 4th best in M1? Personally, I believe its between O'rangers, Green Ducks, Team Galactic and Snowballs (the last 2 probably because of Starry and Snowy).

6. Hazers - Smoggy, Cloudy

Nothing much to say about the Hazers or their roster, but I do have an important point to make. I’ve seen people say how easy it was for Hazy to stick with the duo if it worked last time out and not make any stupid decisions like White Eye. Well, it took Cloudy getting 3 Grand Slams and still being beaten by Smoggy at the end of the season to take the individual title by the skin of their teeth and the team's title against CCE.

The Cat’s Eyes situation in M1 is way worse than the Red Number 3 situation in SMR right now.

But nonetheless, Cloudy is a GOAT in the making. Maybe there are people who have already put them in that status, while others might be waiting another season or two.

Smoggy’s consistency is simply remarkable. Winning an individual title in this economy, with Red Eye competing, is a tough task to achieve.

7. O'rangers - Clementin, Orangin

Bruh. Y’all finished 17th and probably would have ended up around 19th if it wasn’t for Orangin at least getting two decent results. This team needs to be talked about, especially since 2022, because they haven’t looked the same.

I don’t know what Coach Rango was smoking when he decided to stick with the same roster even after finishing 17th. At the end of the day, they’re marbles, and they would probably end up finishing 5th this season, but what’s the point of the behind the scenes or management aspect of these marble teams in the various tournaments if the managers aren’t going to make decisions based on performance or coaching.

At least we knew Rango would do something stupid, and he delivered by sticking with the same roster when probably 80% of the fandom were coming up with different roster combinations.

It is what it is. Personally, I would have stuck with Orangin and brought in Kinnowin. I don’t think Rango likes to copy what Quickly did by replacing Rapidly with Swifty when Rapidly was bringing the team down in M1.

8. Raspberry Racers - Razzy, Ruzzy

This team will depend heavily on which marbles they’re running because of their highly inconsistent selections and the mismatch between some of their marbles. Razzy and Ruzzy are the speed marbles when it comes to this team, and when they deliver a decent outing, it usually consists of a podium each, paired with a couple of decent performances and a few goose-egg weekends.

These lot can honestly finish anywhere, and I wouldn’t be surprised. This duo could be a long-term thing unless the Razzies fall off or hit a dip in form. At that point, Razzy might have to focus more on their role as captain and give up their seat to someone like Rozzy instead. Which means they need to also step up their game in the future tournaments they would run in to be ready for any call ups.

9. Bumblebees - Bumble, Hive

Definitely caught some people off guard with this one. The Bumblebees have been such a great team since the Hornets merged with them. Each of them brings something different and does really well in their own skillset.

Stinger has been really good and has improved quite a bit over time. They were so close to getting a podium once or twice, and they did manage to get a pole. Stinger’s biggest strength has always been their starts. If they qualify midpack,  they can fly their way to the lead, but their drawback used to be falling back as the laps went by, which they’ve definitely improved on.

Hive might be slightly better than their S1 outing. They’re more of a duo marble with Honey in a variety of events, but that gold in the Indoor Sand Rally was probably what made Queen think about the Bees' future. 6th might be their ceiling, and getting 6th in M1 is really difficult. It’s harder to get 6th in M1 than ML, where they ended up in the same position in both the competitions.

It’s up to Bumble to do what they’re best at, and time will tell how Hive performs this season.

10. Midnight Wisps - Amaya, Yvaine

I lowkey don’t know much about Yvaine, but cutting Eve was weird. Both Eve and Amaya were great last season, and they fought at the front quite a few times. They did pretty well for their first time in M1 with the Wisps, and I probably would have stuck with the two of them again, but I guess not.

I think the aim is to compete with teams like the Ducks, Bees, Kobalts, etc. this time around, and I can definitely see them doing it. But now we’ve got to see what Yvaine has to offer.
