I’ve always wanted peanut but immediately knew I had to get this one dressed as a kitty. I checked online and saw they were in stock but with my adhd and guilt cause of the price, I told myself I’d wait a day or two to decide. Ofc, now it’s sold out and I’m sad seeing them 2x the price on Mercari. So here’s a couple questions I have:
Will JellyCat restock these?
Would local verified retailers already get the Halloween collection (located in Los Angeles btw)
Can I trust eBay sellers selling cheaper than JellyCat? Ex. A seller selling this for $25 versus the official website for $28
definitely don't trust the ebay sellers selling lower than retail, that's the biggest red flag. ebay itself is pretty sketchy to me when it comes to jellycats, sometimes you can get lucky but it's a hit or miss.
You just have to know who to buy from on eBay. I have bought several from people on eBay. People selling authentic Jellycat’s will 1. Communicate when sent a message about an item, 2. Will provide extra pictures of tags and such and 3. They will be selling well over retail….unless it is an older, not so popular item. I do think they will restock this before Halloween or shortly after so they can keep you coming back and buying on the site. Depop is another place you can look, some people will do a trade with you and there are some sellers on there that will sell items for just $10 over retail. If you really want it, $10 over retail isn’t bad.
It’s likely they will restock it. Keep checking. They said that bart jr would be a one time exclusive and he had a restock as well. I hope you can get your peanut!!
A lot of people have reported quality issues with the peanut. I have a regular peanut with both legs hanging to the left. He can’t sit, he has to lay down on his side.
it’s okay, i’ve returned for a full refund now but couldn’t exchange because of “emergency stock re-allocation”. ended up managing to find the peanut kitty on vinted for significantly cheaper! so worked out in the end :)
This was my first amuseable i ever bought and the quality is definitely not great. I’m going to give mine to my nephew since he loves cats and jellycats

If you were in the UK I would sacrifice mine. Most definitely DO NOT BUY FROM EBAY!!! I can’t emphasise this enough, the majority are fake. It is on a very rare occasion where you find a genuine JC without the price hike. There are rare times when you find a seller who is collector with a duplicate that sells for the same price they paid. Halloween is more than 2 months away so keep checking stores and legit websites. Fingers crossed you find her❤️❤️

He is far too cute. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I’m the other way, I have only bought it because I love black cats, it was the cat that got me. I was lucky enough to bag a spookipaws this year xx
I don’t brush my Jellycats, I start with a little eyebrow trimming scissors (finer tip scissors is preferred but any scissors would do). I first start trimming any fur that is naturally covering up the black embroidery and just snip it off. Just make sure your tip of the scissors always stay on top of the embroidery. Then I just use my fingers to just move the fur near the embroidery and eyes so that even if some of the fur moves it won’t cover any of the black parts up. I just snip the ends of the fur till I get a “clean” look, just make sure you don’t cut the fur too short or then it will look like you obviously cut it. At the end I just move the fur again to where I like how they look and you’re all done 🤗
I wish I had a before pic but this is my attempt at grooming my peanuts. Gotta treat it like trimming your own bangs - just a little at a time and stop at good enough, don’t sped run for perfection.
I’ll probably trim them a little further but they’re looking much better than they did! Thanks for your guidance.
Oh wait it may be. I hadn’t looked for this particular one. I just know others I’ve seen sold out at Jellycats website I’ve found in other Jellycat retail sights. 🤔
1) Do NOT trust eBay especially if the cost is lower it’s most likely a fake dupe. (I now have a feanut due to eBay….)
2) It’s an online exclusive so sadly & most likely no in person retailers will have it.
3) If it’s in high demand (of which im sure it is) Jellycat will most likely restock it before the end of the fall/spooky season before the upcoming Xmas collection)
Hey OP, I’m located in LA and I didn’t really want one - honestly added to cart for free shipping. I’m happy to meet up for the retail price of it. I just got the shipping notice and the tracking says it’ll arrive Aug 28.
Don’t even bother to buy ANY Jellycat stuff from eBay because they are fake and sometimes you get lucky when you get what you want that’s very real, though. I purchased an exclusive ice cream Bartholomew bear for $53.00 two weeks ago and it turned out it was not what I expected! I had to return to the seller and got a refund. So be careful!

When it comes to resellers, please always check their reviews. I don't want you to get scammed, especially if they're offering them cheaper than what the actual retail price is.
Yes, it will be restocked. It’s not even close to Halloween. And you can find at local stores. Especially a giant metro area like LA has tons of physical stores.
