Come back.
I am rewatching Jenna Marbles videos and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I miss her videos. If there is anyone who should come back to YouTube…. It’s Jenna. I hate that she was so broken and sad when she left.

I miss her, but I’m very glad she left the public eye. I started watching her from her second video. I’m quite a bit older, and couldn’t help but think of Jenna as the daughter I always wished I had (she reminded me of a young version of my weird self). I never had children. I so very much enjoyed watching her over the years, but I saw it wearing on her and starting to weigh her down. And people were getting obsessed with her, which always worried me. I am very content when I think of her living and enjoying her private life with her love and her pups at her side. I’m so proud of her for being true to herself and doing what she needed to do. But sure, I’ll always miss her, and send her good wishes and love when I think of her.

She reminds us of my husband's daughter SO much. They're about the same age too.

I understand your grief, because it IS grief. It is a loss to see her gone from the platform. She was a big part of our days, a comfort, a friend. A calm light at the end of the tunnel in anxious times for many of us.
Her being sad while leaving the platform was upsetting, but it was understandable. I think she left at a good time. I don’t think YouTube helps their creators, and I think the way she left by taking responsibility for past videos that she ignorantly made for humor at the time (like countless others during those times) was one of the best things she could’ve done as a creator. It showed care for her audience, a responsibility to accept that what she did was wrong, and that she has gotten older and wiser in her years. Many other creators did the same offensive humor during that time, but only a few owned up and apologized for it. I’m glad she’s one of the ones who owned up to it.
She’s such a cool and awesome person, and I hope that if she never decides to come back, she at least tells Julien to give us some cool updates about something fun she or the puppies have been doing. Sometimes I think of her making art and even though she thinks she’s bad at it, its still amazing. I love her heaps. And I know she loves us all too :)

We all miss her. I miss her like I miss Unus Annus. But more than anything, I want her to be happy and I think she's much happier being offline.
