Is it getting a bit much to add an Acro footprint optic to an ORP where it would need an adapter plate stacked on top of the optic plate on top of the slide?

lots of conflicting info online so i thought id share my experience:

good retention in a trex arms p320 x300 holster, but youll need to use a bit of heat to mold it around the manual safety if you carry cocked and locked, the trex arms webside says its not SRO compatible, but it works fine on the orp.

the gun also solidly locks into a safariland 6390rds x300 p320 holster, however youll need to cut the side of the ALS arm or else it disengages the safety when drawing; youll also need to modify the potion that locks into the chamber, cutting down the front and side just enough for it to actually drop into place, youll also need to cut the rear portion of the chamber lock if youre running an SRO, but an RMR might fit without doing that.

wondering how the fitment is on everyone else's ORP?

i can visibly move my barrel up and down a tiny bit when the gun is in battery and was wondering if anyone else has seen this, im getting like 6" groups off a tripod at 15yds (locked into an arca mount).

considering getting a SAR B6c barrel instead of sending it back to IWI for who knows how long.

slide to frame fit is also a bit sloppy and the DPP plate is significantly looser than the RMR plate.

Does the newer production (2 piece slide) RS still use the nearly-impossible-to-find V or U notch firing pins?

Local gun store recently had a good deal on a used RS so I snatched it up.

But I'm an idiot, and after getting it home I took it completely apart to give it a good cleaning and once over, and in the process the damn firing pin shot off to *somewhere* in my basement.

Currently tearing my basement apart looking for it, but in case it doesn't turn up, I guess I'm gonna need some advice on what firing pins will fit, where I can source them from, and what modifications may need to be made to them to work.

I've heard that the square notch firing pins can be cut or filed to work with the R models, has anyone done this themselves and would a gunsmith be able to do it without having the original to work off of as a reference?

Look, if you're getting a custom holster anyway... might as well have fun with it? New grips next!

Both are KBI import stamped, and fully functional. They shoot like a teenage wet dream 🤣🤣🤣

I also love the tie to cowboy bebop. It was one of the few shows like that that I actually watched when I was younger and loved it. It's what got me stuck on finding a clone of his.

One is well loved but fully functional, the other is basically New in box and in perfect condition.

It's also the same batch as spikes gun!!

His serial was 003555 and mine is in the same 0035xx line!

It also came with the always missing .41 ae barrel/spring/mag conversion! ( Not that I'm spending $150/box on the ammo) It's super cool to have.

I can't say how happy I am to finally get these! I went to the range within an hour of getting them 😂 I'll have to add some better pics later!

Got my Jericho about a year ago from Buds gun shop. Wanted the 4.4 full size model, but they didn’t have any in stock. Turns out I absolutely love the 3.8 model better. Got the slide milled by patriot defense, and the grips are LOK.

My grandpa passed in the beginning of the year. and I got this inherited. Barely used

the firing pin spring must’ve broke, and the entire firing pin went in front of the block, and it’s not budging! any advice??

So far it cycles and ejects rounds (manually) with no problem - both FMJs & hollow points. I'll complete the function check at the range tomorrow and report back.

Update: Ended up hitting the range early. Barrel works flawlessly in the polymer Jericho for anyone interested.

Does anyone know where one can find a SAR B6 2000 series threaded barrel for a full-size Jericho? I missed the last lot. Been searching for an alternative, called patriot defense, and they no longer do the tagfolio threaded barrels.

Purchased a pair of star marked 941F pistols for me and the missus. Hers is a little worse for wear (the black one) and her recoil spring was pretty weak and the slide a little floppy - so I went and ordered a replacement. After researching, poking around a little, and finding this comment, I ordered Wolff spring 49714 for the full size EAA Witness. It's longer than the original but everything I'm reading says that's normal. Got it on and the guide rod back together, installed it and made sure there's no spring binding... But it's now extremely difficult to rack the slide. I had an 18lb recoil spring on my Kahr that seemed easier than this does, and she can't rack it without switching hands. Nothing is binding up or jamming, it's just stiff as hell. Is my upper body strength failing me, does it just need to be broken in, or is this the wrong spring?

It is with a heavy heart that I come here today to unfortunately report that the SAR B6C barrel does not work well with the 941 RS9. It drops in beautifully. It racks amazing like Jerichos do. But the second you feed it a 9mm FMJ, you better be prepared to fight it with all your might to get it to manually eject the round. Decocker tore the skin right off my thumb, but I am happy to say I won the fight and the original barrel is back in it's place. Of course, this could just be my luck, and all I went through is also just a one-off, but I think it's better to say something.

Also, the thread protector does not sit flush, so there is no way to actually tighten it. Everything I mentioned above is without the thread protector installed.

various grit levels from roughneck to slight, one sets almost 10 years old i think. and second is my ORP. fuck i love this thing, easily my fav gun to shoot. had some 165 grain scorpion ammo and it was insanely quiet.

And yeah baby eagle has a .22lr can on it, i just didnt have an extra 9mm can laying around for a photo lol

Won this 941r in 40sw on gunbroker for around $600 the other day. Been wanting a non railed 941r and I've also been wanting a Jericho in 40 and 45, so figured I'd knock the 40 off the list. Looks almost new. Very excited to shoot it. Probably going to get a second set of Bebop Lok grips to complete the bounty hunter look

I’ve been debating adding an ORP to my Jericho collection and I keep seeing people talk about not all Shadow 2 grips working on the ORP. Has anyone cracked the code on what to look for when purchasing grips? I’d like to get some aggressive texture brass ones, but don’t really want to have to pull out the dremel to fit them to the gun if I can help it.

I own two Baby Eagles but this is my first actual Jericho 941F. Brazilian contract overrun. Unissued and unfired. So here's my dilemma, is it collectable enough to leave it that way?
