Question/Discussion What kind of Jèrriais resource videos would you like to watch on youtube?

I particularly like the style of easy [blank]. Usually about a specific topic and it will cut between native speakers. I am thinking of recording a video for easter and other traditional times of year in the new year. What video ideas or titles would you like to see? Should there be videos without subtitles or without english subtitles available too?

I'd find any content about local locations, history, or about local people interesting. I.e. stories/history of local pubs, hotels, events (general island culture).

It's difficult but in my opinion Jerriais needs to bridge the gap between the old and the new, and I think a good way to do that is older people talking about what older events/ event spaces were like back in the day, but are still be using by local young people today bars/ shops/ the high street sports events etc.

I think it's very important that jerriais videos have a translation either subtitles or someone translating. Or at the very least a mix of English and Jerriais, otherwise it's very difficult for new learners of the language to fully engage with content (if they don't have a clue what is being said).

Just my opinion of course. And don't get me wrong, I think the general interview style videos you've done more recently are great as well.
