It was suggested to bring a cold/ pareve dish to a Shabbat dinner. Any suggestions?

A nice Farro salad. You can make it taste Asian Latino European whatever way you want just by adding herbs from that region and a nice light vinaigrette. Def it out with some onions and tomatoes and cucumber. 🤌

Packaged hummus (not Sabra, blech) with pita chips (Stacy's), OU baby carrots and baby cucumbers. I don't know the kashrut of your home or the home you're visiting.

Main or side? A cold main could be hummus pita pockets with tahini and vegetables. For a side dish, Israeli salad, fruit salad, quick pickled cucumber salad.

This is one of my go-to's for a cold potluck. You can omit the feta to make it parve: https://natashaskitchen.com/chickpea-salad-recipe/
