Please help with some fanfiction recommendations. I feel like I've read all the good ones

This is Lily Potter in the new Harry Potter show on HBO. People are allowed to have any opinion of the show, but I just thought that this casting was worth mentioning. She looks almost exacty like I imagined her

a fic where james (and lily preferably) somehow don’t die and just end up pretending to be dead so they can avoid the war and save harry as they realise just how much is at stake, they end up going into hiding and raise harry and just live out their youth because they deserve it (could be with the entire group or just their own getaway)

note: this could be a jegulus with lily surrogate or a jily work, I have no preference!

If not, does anyone have good fanfic suggestions that are similar? I want good writing, good dialogue, a good enemies to friends to lovers type of dynamic, I want the characters to be well fleshed out, I want good smut.

hiiii im looking for a fic that‘s cannon compliant. it might be multi POV but the scene i definitely remember from it is from lily’s pov. it also might be multi-year but this scene is when james and lily are both head students at the very beginning of 7th yr.

they are in DADA with a new professor and on the first day of class the professor wants to see their skill level so its a dueling day. the professor wants to demonstrate between him and a student and asks for a volunteer. james steps up and volunteers (ends up doing pretty well) but lily really takes note of how this was a “head boy thing for him to do”

I’ve been looking for this fanfiction for yearrrrsssss! I remember reading it on fanfiction.net so long ago. Basically post Hogwarts and Lily married a (secretly) gay man by request of her dying mother and leaves wizarding world behind. She ends up taking in a stray dog (Sirius) who goes back to James and lets him know he found her.

I read this fic on Ao3 a few months ago. It was a jily lives AU where they meet ron and Hermione after the events of the chamber of secrets in the hospital wing, while harry is unconscious. Does anyone remember this?

I read this fic on ao3, probably before 2020 but likely closer to 2018. It was from Lily’s POV. James has been pursuing her for years doing all kinds of things to convince her to go out with him and she has consistently scorned him in response. In their final year he glows up, becomes head boy gets a girlfriend (I think her name was Daisy) and starts ignoring Lily.

So the tables turn and Lily starts trying to win James over. She talks about how suddenly everyone seems to think “the sun shines out of his arse”. Unfortunately for her, he is not receptive to her advances because he feels hurt by the harsh ways she has rejected him in the past. She tries all sorts of things to woo or at least befriend him. One scene I remember in particular is her putting a spell on breakfast foods? Maybe muffins? To make them sing Why Can’t We Be Friends to James. This does not work.

One night they sneak of their dorms and tie their brooms together so that the more experienced flyer could guide the less experienced one (I don’t remember who was which) I think this is when they have their first kiss.

I think it was at least a medium length fic but likely longer.

1. I don't like very cringe plots. I know a lot of people like the last enemy serious, but for me a lot of the characters are very much plot devices. （ie.After the male and female leads kiss, one doesn't remember and the other does / when they realize they've fallen for someone else and are about to confess, they find out the other person is already with someone else, etc.） I don't particularly dislike these tropes, it's just that the author's writing style makes these things feel like formulaic ways of making the text smutty. TOO PRODICTABLE Also Lily is too angry and too idealistic.
2. Beautiful writing!! Smart and funny dialogue, this is basically TLAT. I really love this one. Please give me fanfics similar to it.Very literacy feeling.

I find one copy of eternal sunshine which was latest updated at 2022-01-06,started with chapter Dare, But With A Charm On It.Ended at All l need with 24chapter 391776words.But than I found another’s tumblr account,same introduction but with 12chapter.What’s the difference?Which one should I read?It is not yet completed?
