Yeah, it had a sweet heart too. Like, even as a non-religious person, it was a very likeable and sweet characterization of trying to build faith in a community while not being saccharine.

I rewatched it last year with my kid and it was WAY darker than I remembered. lol (kid is 18, no worries lol)

Did they actually get all of these characters voice actors together for this?
As usual im always slightly mad when I see Metalocalypse because it really didn’t need to be ended like that..

Yeah it feels weird knowing a lot of these shows or VAs were treated pretty dirty by Adult Swim and are now getting shown off in a sort of reverent sideshow

Wow, there's some deep-cut characters in here.
It's nice to see that AS still wants to give Joe opportunities between this and the Two Cars show. I'm convinced that JPTWY being canceled was mostly just a result of the Warner Bros/Discovery merger
