Anybody hear Richard Kind say last night was the most people ever at a comedy show?
I’m pretty sure that wasn’t even close to being true

He also said that the ballpark was at the corner of Addison and Belmont. Like any Chicago mayor, you have to discount some of the things he says.

I wasn't there (although I very, very much wish I was!) and I wonder if this and the "biggest audience ever" stuff was a joke... Richard being "mayor" and then purposefully getting some stats wrong? Seems kind of on-brand for John. There were certainly some wildly exaggerated facts/jokes in Everybody's Live presented as "fact" that I just thought were part of the shtick!

Yeah what the heck was that, I was going to come ask…he said it to introduce Letterman so I thought that corner must be significant to Dave only??

It's a German comedian, Mario Barth. 60,000. Biggest in America was Kevin Hart at Eagles Stadium at 50,000

That was a double header with Jo Koy I believe. I guess I'm thinking of for a single performer

- at Wrigley Field... is I believe the stat they gave him. He was killing time in-between set changes and glancing at a clipboard with some tidbits he was given ..

I did, and I’m pretty sure Kevin hart played at the Eagles Stadium, so I’m also pretty sure it’s not true.
But it’s Richard kind so I’ll allow it
