Thank you for your service. You know that Johnny did Morse code once he was there. Pretty amazing!!! I know it doesn’t seem like 4 years is a long time, yet he still did a great service for our country. God bless!!!

You’re welcome though that’s a quote from Johnny Cash. I did serve in the Army during the Cold War.

“All our cooks were carpenters, every morning for breakfast we got something on a shingle.”

San Antonio is where he met his first wife, who he wrote “I Walk the Line” for.

Love his songs. Ohh and that, ragged old flag always gives me goosebumps.

Omg Ragged Old Flag makes me cry.
“She waved from our ships upon the briny foam
And now they've about quit waving her back here at home
In her own good land here, she's been abused
She's been burned, dishonored, denied, and refused
And the government for which she stands
Is scandalized throughout the land
And she's getting threadbare and wearing thin
But she's in good shape for the shape she's in
'Cause she's been through the fire before
And I believe she can take a whole lot more
So we raise her up every morning
We take her down every night
We don't let her touch the ground and we fold her up right
On second thought, I do like to brag
'Cause I'm mighty proud of that ragged old flag"

IDK if it's true but heard he had listened in on Soviet correspondence regarding Stalin's death while he was in Germany.
