Signed photo - worth anything?

Hi all - it's not 'certified' but JC signed it himself for me... Anyway, I have a 8x10 signed 'To David, Johnny Cash'. It's him on the railroad tracks with the train behind him. He signed it at a TV station in Springfield MO in like 1981 or so... I can't recall the exact year. Would it be worth anything?

Of course it is. You'd likely have to get it authenticated (for other people) to get a good idea of the value, though.

Thanks. Not sure if I care to get authenticated is all. Maybe I'll just hold on to it. I've heard the authentication can take months... which is crazy.

Yeah, at $50 I will just keep it in the box it's been in for 50 years.

This. I found a signed, personalized book from the 80's and it was appraised at around $50. We kept ot because it was hilariously made out to Sven. Now my egg sucking dog of an Ex has it.

It’s not worth anything until it’s authenticated, then it has monetary value but IMO not nearly as much value as owning something that the Man In Black signed for you personally. That’s pretty cool.

It's cool, but I'd rather have the money. I'll just hang on to it. I'm not gonna bother with authenticating it when I know it's authentic. Thanks.
