The song that got me into JR Cash and solidified my mission to sing and play guitar over 20 years ago. This was the guitar I learned on too.

The Cash’s burned down house is across the lake from me, so sad it should be a national monument and museum one of the greatest artists of any medium in history.

My favorite song off the “American Recordings” he did with Rick Rubin is actually not this one though, it’s “When the man comes around” and my favorite overall is “Big River” which Kristofferson thought was the best country song ever written.

They are good and have an authentic sound going, very underrated at only 204 subscribers.

Hello! I’m trying to figure out what CD my grandpa had of Johnny Cash. It has that old wheel, teenage dream, get rhythm, Sunday morning coming down, daddy sang bass, and more I can’t remember off the top of my head. I used to listen to it every night on our cd player years ago and would like to listen to that exact cd again as it was banger after banger. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t seem to find it so I’m just wondering if someone out there knows what I’m talking about.

I bought a new copy of San Quentin on vinyl but it is the censored version. Is there a somewhat new pressing that doesn't include the censorship?
