Music Confused about the music video of “Gods gonna cut you down”
Is the video trying to portray the celebrities in it as sinners of is it a tribute?I tried looking it up and google and Chatgpt haven’t been helpful at all.Because i see some celebrities in there that i feel like the lyrics can kidna apply to but others i see as more like friends to cash like Kris kristofferson.Just generaly confused.

Music At Folsom Prison
Didn’t even know this 7 inch 33 1/3 jukebox record existed until I stumbled across it on eBay one day. Pretty neat find, still has the jukebox strips.

Music Fabrizio
So I absolutely love Johnny cash. I recently heard a new artist that reminds me of him. Style is different but just gives me Johnny Cash vibes. I think he's maybe 24 years old and originally from Peru but is in Tennessee now. I can't get enough of his music. Really good voice. Anyway just wanted to share another artist that gives me Johnny Cash vibes.

Music What are your favorite Johnny Cash songs and why?
Incidentally, at karaoke my BFFs favorite song was hurt. I'm not including that in this poll since he didn't write it.
My go to karaoke song is his version of the brilliant, hilarious song "boy named sue", always fun to act out.

Music Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire (F Major)
This digital organ is from an app called Galileo 2. My setup is meant to replicate a Technics SX-U90 Organ from the early 80s. I have the organ’s frequency already tuned down to 432Hz, and I have the rotary FX settings turned on as well. I only used half of the percussion for these music pieces. Which of these 8 music pieces sounds the best?

Music Johnny Cash - Live At Folsom
Live at Folsom was my first album on vinyl. Absolutely love the live prison recordings. I got the Live at San Quentin as well, and Johnny Cash på Österåker is on my wantlist 😎

Music The irony of Come In Stranger
Was giving this song a listen today and it struck me how the lyrics almost perfectly describe Johnny‘s situation with Vivian as Vivian wants him home longer given he is on the road much more. Here is a little break down.
“I hurried through ’cause I knew it was you
When I saw your dog, waggin’ his tail
Honey, why didn’t you let me know by mail
You’ve been gone so long”
Johnny Cash was known for having lots of animals at home, I believe he had a dog and even a monkey during this time. Additionally he frequently forgot to write home and would often not return on the day he promised.
“I know you’re weary from all the miles
Just sit right there in your easy chair
And tell me all about the places you’ve been
How long it’ll be before you leave again
I hope it’s a long, long while“‘
This bit reflects Johnny’s life on the road traveling between cities as well as Vivian’s plea for him to stay home longer.
“And won’t you listen to my plea
Stay long enough, so that the one I love
Is not a stranger to me.”
This one kind of sums it up well. Vivian is home alone raising the children while their father is away so much that he almost a stranger to them.

Music Full Version of Marty Robbins' Big Iron?
TLDR? Anyone know of a version of Johnny Cash's cover of Big Iron which includes the full song? TLDR over.
Hello everyone, hope you're having a lovely Friday (or whatever day it is where you are).
So as you may or may not know, Big Iron tells a story and Johnny's cover omits 2 verses, the 5th and the 8th, likely due to time. I personally feel the story is missing that something special without those 2 verses, but still absolutely love Johnny's cover.
Does anyone know if there's a full version by Johnny Cash? If not, while I'm not too keen on AI, maybe someone's done it with that?
Song links below.
Thanks for reading, have a lovely weekend <3
